It was previously rumored that X-23 might join Logan in director James Mangold’s Wolverine 3. With Hugh Jackman hanging up his claws after this movie, it would make sense to see a Wolverine replacement, and if that happened, Marvel’s new female Wolverine, Laura Kinney, who was previously known as X-23, would be the perfect choice.

BANDAI NAMCO has officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the most expansive Dragon Ball videogame experience to-date. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently in development at famed Osaka, Japan based videogame developer DIMPS (who previously developed the first Xenoverse title, among other Dragon Ball games) and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year. Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3, The Nice Guys) has wanted to make a movie based on the pulp hero Doc Savage for a long time, and it sounds like he’ll finally start rolling on that sometime next year. At one point Chris Hemsworth was being eyed for the title role — a physician, surgeon, scientist, adventurer, inventor, explorer, researcher, and musician all in one, not unlike Buckaroo Banzai — but in recent months, Black has talked about how he now has his sights set on Dwayne Johnson as his potential star.

Rumors have swirled for some time now about Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the world of Predator with Shane Black’s upcoming reboot of the franchise, though no confirmation has ever come about. Fox’s Gambit film project hasn’t had a smooth road since it was first announced. At one point Channing Tatum was looking to drop out of the project, then director Rupert Wyatt bailed on the projectm, and was quickly replaced by Doug Liman, and then recently the film was pulled from Fox’s release schedule. The movie is still moving forward, though.

Shane Black says the Predator costume design will get an upgrade for the new film.
Director Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Lethal Weapon) and his The Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker have been working on an “inventive sequel” to 20th Century Fox’s Predator since 2014, turning in the script late last year and revealing a teaser image in February. Now Black is on the campaign trail for his brilliant new detective movie, The Nice Guys, and we got to ask him if he plans to change Stan Winston‘s iconic Predator costume design for his film, now titled The Predator.
