Christmas comes twice a year for Star Wars fans, the first time is Force Friday and thanks to Hasbro we’re getting a good look at some of the new figures that will be hitting stores shelves between now and December when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters.
Force Friday II is the massive Star Wars merchandising extravaganza that launches starting at midnight Sept. 1. It gives the die-hard fans the chance to get their hands on some figures before everyone else.
THR’s Heat Vision got an exclusive look at a line of Hasbro’s Force Friday figures, including the company’s prestigious Black Series six-inch figures.
The first figure standout looks to be the First Order Stormtrooper Executioner figure. This one will be exclusively available at Target and retail for $19.99. This trooper’s duty is to “dispense final justice to those who feign loyalty to the First Order.” Fans are already speculating that Finn (John Boyega) will have to face them for deserting the First Order in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Attention, Star Wars fans: It’s time to make some room on your desk, toy shelf, bookshelf, and in your closet.
Disney and Lucasfilm announced Star Wars Force Friday II, a global fan event celebrating the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi products. Toys, collectibles, books, apparel, and more will go on sale beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017, with stores around the world opening for a weekend-long celebration of all things Star Wars. But you can only squeeze so much detail into a three or six-inch figure, which is why Hasbro is now supersizing its Marvel Legends line to 12-inches.
