Emily Blunt Delayed Edge of Tomorrow Sequel for Poppins

Emily Blunt Delayed Edge of Tomorrow Sequel for Poppins

Director Doug Liman and star Tom Cruise have been teasing an Edge of Tomorrow sequel, titled Live Die Repeat and Repeat, for some time. Now the film’s other star, Emily Blunt, has revealed to IndieWire that she could have made the sequel happen last year but her commitment to Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns made her availability impossible.

“It’s a lot for all the stars to align for everyone to be free at the same time and available to do it at the same time,” Blunt said. “They asked me to do [it] two months before I started ‘Mary Poppins.’ Tom was like, ‘Can you go this autumn?’ and I was like, ‘No, I can’t go, I’m playing Mary Poppins for like a year, dude! I can’t do Edge of Tomorrow.’ Doug Liman has got an awesome idea and he’s excited and they just need to write it. There has been a script, but now I gather there’s another one in the works.”

Mark Hamill Complains About THE LAST JEDI Again; This Time it’s About Milking The Alien Creature

Mark Hamill is now talking about another thing that he didn’t like about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He’s already voiced several complaints about how he didn’t necessarily like how Luke Skywalker was handled. His latest complaint deals with the scene where we see Luke milk and alien creature for blue milk to drink, and this is actually valid.

While the scene did offer a laugh, the time wasted on it would have been better served with seeing Luke mourning the loss of his friend Han Solo, which is a scene that was cut. While talking to IGN about the deleted scenes of the film Hamill had this to say:a

Marvel Comics is Bringing Back FANTASTIC FOUR!

marvel-comics-is-bringing-back-the-fantastic-four2

In 2015 Marvel Comics brought an end to Fantastic Four, which was one of its longest continuous comic series ever. It was a big surprise, but it happened around the time when Fox was going to release that terrible Fantastic Four film. I heard rumors that the reason Marvel canceled the comic series was to stick it to Fox because they were going through some tense times. But regardless of what the reason was, Marvel brought it to an end.

Marvel Comics has now revealed that they are officially bringing Fantastic Four back in a new ongoing series! I guess now that Disney is buying Fox, they feel it’s okay to bring Marvel’s first family back together. If we ever do see a new Fantastic Four movie, it’s going to come from Marvel Studios next time. It only makes sense that they’d want a Fantastic Four comic to help in their marketing efforts.

The comic will be written by Dan Slott, with art by Sara Pichelli. The new Fantastic Four book will bring Reed and Sue back to Earth, reuniting the team for the first time since Secret Wars. Fantastic Four #1 launches this August.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Discuss BILL & TED 3 Which is Actually Close To Happening!

For years Bill & Ted fans have been hearing about a third Bill & Ted movie called Bill & Ted Face The Music. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are both on board to make the movie if a studio ever decides to pull the trigger on it. There’s already a script that was written by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, the story of which follows the older middle-aged Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan back in time to interact with their past selves and George Carlin’s character Rufus, “using footage from 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.” It finds our heroes “still struggling to complete the great work of their life.”

Now Reeves, Winter, Matheson, and Solomon have recently reunited for an interview with Entertainment Weekly to talk about Bill and Ted 3 and the long process they have gone through in trying to get it into production. Solomon says:

“We wanted to get it right. We wanted to have it be something that we — all four of us, Chris and I, Alex and Keanu — could stand behind, and know we’re doing this for the right reasons.”

the-writer-of-the-matrix-revival-offers-an-update-and-teases-an-expanded-universe-social.jpg

Last year we learned that Warner Bros. was developing a new Matrix film. That news included rumors of Michael B. Jordan starring in the film. and that it would possibly focus on a young version of Morpheus. One thing that screenwriter Zak Penn (Ready Player One) previously made clear is that this is not a reboot. This will be more of a revival.

During an interview with ScreenRant, Zak Penn offered an update on The Matrix, which is a passion project for him. He also once again explains that the movie will not be a reboot and teases the possibility of an expanded universe.

“I’ve been working on Matrix right now. Which is in…a phase right now. That’s a franchise I desperately want to see brought back and, I can’t go in to too much detail, but I’ve been harassing Warner Bros. for years to try to get it going again so that’s one thing I’m working on and I’ve been working on a bunch of other things too.”

THE BATMAN Movie Will Begin Production in 2019

It looks like The Batman may not be suiting up in 2018, that’s according to director Matt Reeves after he debunked rumors suggesting he might be walking away from Warner Bros.’ upcoming Batman movie.
