Will the next X-Men movie follow the Dark Phoenix Saga?

Although Hugh Jackman‘s time as Wolverine appears to be coming to an end with Logan, 20th Century Fox‘s X-Men movie franchise looks like it may just be getting started. Collider reports that Simon Kinberg is in talks with the studio to write and direct the next X-Men movie, rumored to be titled “X-Men: Supernova”. Kinberg has been involved as a writer and producer of every X-Men film since 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. There’s been some of negativity surrounding Ben Affleck’s upcoming new Batman film because of a rumor stating that the script has some “serious issues” and that the studio doesn’t care because the movie is going to make money anyway. That’s a terrible mentality to have, but I seriously doubt Affleck shares those beliefs because the guy only makes quality movies that he believes in, and I don’t think he is going to make a shitty Batman film.

Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello was recently a guest on former pro wrestling announcer Mark Madden’s podcast and talked a little bit about Affleck’s take on the Dark Knight and why fans are going to love it. Continue reading

Spider-Man: Homecoming to Crossover Daredevil's Kingpin?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, both on the cinematic and TV sides of things, but there has been little to no crossover between the two so far, save for Agent Coulson having appeared first in The Avengers and then headlining “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” However, a new rumor is suggesting that the TV universe will be crossing over with the movie universe for the first time. Apparently, Marvel is considering bringing Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin from the Netflix series “Daredevil” into the first Tom Holland led Peter Parker solo flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

And let’s not forget those comments from S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet, who told fans that Marvel doesn’t acknowledge the events of the series because the studio “doesn’t seem to care” about the show.
