Remember Avatars, Xbox’s answer to the uber-popular Miis of yesteryear? Well, at E3 2017, Microsoft revealed that they’re coming back, and this time with a ton of expanded customization options. Revamped Avatars will launch on Xbox One this fall, and you can get a quick taste of what’s to come with a new trailer.

Disney Is Shutting Down Both ‘Marvel: Avengers Alliance’ and ‘Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2’

Bad news if you enjoy playing Disney’s Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 . Disney has decided to shut down both of those games on all platforms on September 30th. In order to ensure that no one spends any more money on the games, purchasing has been disabled as of September 1st. According to the announcement, this was a difficult decision because of the passion and support of all the players, but they want to shift their focus to new titles. Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely

New footage of cancelled Avengers game emerges

Prior to THQ’s shuttering in 2012, the studio had been workig on a big-budget superhero game tied to Marvel’s The Avengers movie. The game, tentatively titled “The Avengers: The Movie,” was designed as a first-person action game in which you could play as members of the Avengers; however, it was cancelled in the wake of THQ Australia’s closing.

While we’ve seen leaked footage of the cancelled game previously, a brand new video, courtesy of Unseen 64 and DidYouKnowGaming, has emerged, offering more gamplay footage, assets, and even details about the game’s development. Continue reading
