According to a New Report Zack Snyder Was Actually Fired From JUSTICE LEAGUE

When it was announced that Zack Snyder would be stepping down as the director of Justice League due to a family tragedy, fans were heartbroken. As you know, his daughter committed suicide and it was completely understandable for him to walk away to deal with things.

As sad as it was, as time went on there was something else about all this that didn’t seem right. Then I started to get information from people I know at Warner Bros. about what was really going on. I have tiptoed around this stuff in many of the articles I have written regarding Snyder and Justice League, but I was asked not to come right out and say anything. Well, now someone has said something.

It seems as if Snyder may have actually been fired from the film three months before the official announcement was made. That’s around the same time that Joss Whedon was brought on board to start working on the script. The news comes from veteran entertainment reporter Josh L. Dickey, who posted the following on Twitter:

The JUSTICE LEAGUE Reshoots Being Done with Joss Whedon Are Said to Be Extensive

Well, it looks like we may see Joss Whedon has his work cut out for him with Justice League. Before Zack Snyder stepped away from the project, Whedon was already helping write and plan out the reshoots that needed to be done. Well, now Whedon is directing those reshoots and apparently, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done.

According to Batman-On-Film, the reshoots that need to be done are extensive. They are so many things that need to be reshot that shooting will take place over the course of the summer. The report says:

“I have been told by a 100% vetted and more-than-reliable source that re-shoots on JUSTICE LEAGUE have commenced in London under the helm of Joss Whedon and that they will be ‘significant.’ So much so, that these reshoots are expected to take place through June and July, and maybe into August. They are NOT your ‘standard” pick-ups.'”

Some people see reshoots like this as a bad thing, others see it as a good thing. I just hope that the end result gives fans a great film! A film that’s at least just as good as how Wonder Woman turned out or better!

Whedon is one hell of a talented director and I think he’ll end up bringing some great elements to Justice League. I’m excited to see how the rest of the film in the DCEU turn out. All that matters to me is that they get the best cinematic treatment possible.

What are your thoughts about all this?

Joss Whedon Replaces Zack Snyder On ‘Justice League’ After Family Tragedy

Zack Snyder is stepping down from his directorial duties on “Justice League” in the wake of a family tragedy.

During an interview on the Warner Bros. lot where a rough cut of the film was screened, Snyder revealed that his 20-year-old daughter, Autumn Snyder, died by suicide in March. He is taking time off to take care of his family and deal with her death, while “Avengers” director Joss Whedon will help bring the film across the finish line.

Snyder had already completed the majority of filming on the highly anticipated DC superhero tentpole, which is still slated to be released on Nov. 17, but will hand the reins over to Whedon for shooting additional scenes and post-production.

“In my mind, I thought it was a cathartic thing to go back to work, to just bury myself and see if that was the way through it,” Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter in an emotional interview with his wife and “Justice League” producer Deborah Snyder.
