FLASHPOINT Will Be Directed By SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein

Well, Warner Bros. has finally officially hired a couple of directors to take on the DC film Flashpoint. The screenwriting duo behind Spider-Man: Homecoming, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, have crossed over to DC Entertainment to take on the challenge, and that could be great!

The two previously directed Vacation and the upcoming film Game Night, which looks hilarious. I’ll admit, I was really hoping that Robert Zemeckis would do it, but obviously, things didn’t work out that way. I think Daley and Goldstein could end up doing a good job, though. We’ll just ahve to wait and see. After all, this will be their biggest directing project to date.

Warner Bros. Announces They Are Making FLASHPOINT!!!

With the Warner Bros. always in direct competition with Marvel on Saturday at Comic-con, they are forced to bring out their big guns.

This was the case when they brought out the DC properties. During the panel the studio announced their upcoming slate of superhero movies in a video persentation. They went over the previously announced movies like Green Lantern Corps, Justice League Dark, Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2; they hit us with the title of the upcoming Flash movie. Freaking FLASHPOINT!

That’s right folks, the creative minds at DC are giving The Flash the most complicated/entertaining storyline in all of The Flash‘s history. Flashpoint revolves around The Flash’s power to run so fast that he can manipulate time and the consequences that come with it.

If they stick with the comic arc then it will be in a world where Barry Allen (The Flash) wakes up and the world has changed. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are in a battle for world dominance. A world where Captain Cold is considered a hero and Bruce Wayne is dead.

Barry Allen is forced to find out how the world was changed and how he can bring it back to normal.

If they stick with the original storyline, this should be a massive movie. It can also give DC a chance to solve some problems they have had in the DCEU. Flashpoint was a way of clearing the slate in the DC comic book world. Why couldn’t it do the same in the DCEU?

14 Things You Need To Know About Flashpoint (and The Flash Season 3)

“The Flash” season two wrapped up with an epic finale – and one of Barry Allen’s worst decisions yet. The scarlet speedster headed back in time to the night his mother was killed (again), but this time, he saved her life. It’s a huge decision that undid pretty much everything Barry has done over the past two seasons – coming to terms with his mother’s death, discovering how time travel can affect the present, and making an earlier decision not to save her, in order to become the Flash.

As well as being a game-changer, the finale had fans everywhere talking about what Season Three would bring – namely, Flashpoint! While it’s possible that the show will Continue reading
