Flashpoint Confirmed to Kick Off THE FLASH Season 3

After a lot of rumors and speculations since the second season finale of “The Flash”, Grant Gustin has confirmed that season three will launch with one of the character’s most popular storylines: “Flashpoint”. The end of the season two finale pretty much set it up, so it’s great to see that the team behind the series is moving forward with it.

The CW has given early renewals to 11 of its primetime series for the 2016-2017 season!

The CW renewals list includes the shows Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, iZombie, Jane The Virgin, The Originals, Reign, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and The 100.

“The CW has become home to some of the most critically-acclaimed shows on broadcast television,” says The CW’s President, Mark Pedowitz, “with a wide array of fantastic scripted series across the week, ranging from musical comedy, to superhero action, to gritty sci-fi dramas. Production on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow officially began this week and to cap off a week of filming, DC Entertainment and The CW have released our first official look at Ciara Renée and Falk Hentschel as Hawkgirl and Hawkman! Check out the photo in the gallery below!

With powers derived from the ancient Egyptian hawk god, Horus, Kendra Saunders (Renee) and Carter Hall (Hentschel) are destined to reincarnate through time as winged, helmeted warriors.
