Although Hugh Jackman‘s time as Wolverine appears to be coming to an end with Logan, 20th Century Fox‘s X-Men movie franchise looks like it may just be getting started. Collider reports that Simon Kinberg is in talks with the studio to write and direct the next X-Men movie, rumored to be titled “X-Men: Supernova”. Kinberg has been involved as a writer and producer of every X-Men film since 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. If he takes the director’s chair on the next X-Men movie, it will mark his feature film directorial debut. Continue reading

Even though Deadpool 2 doesn’t have a director anymore, 20th Century Fox isn’t slowing down one bit. Not only is the studio moving full steam ahead on this impending sequel with an empty director’s chair, they are already in the planning stages on Deadpool 3. And the movie will introduce the X-Force. Continue reading

X-Men: Apocalypse Originally Had Wolverine in A Bigger Role. Then They Wanted To Keep Their PG-13 Rating.
In the months leading up to the release of this weekend’s X-Men: Apocalypse, many were wondering whether or not Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine would appear in the movie. This iconic character has appeared in every X-Men movie to date, and while he was never confirmed as part of the cast, Hugh Jackman and director Bryan Singer’s cryptic conversation at Comic Con lead most fans to believe that Wolverine would be a part of X-Men: Apocalypse. Simon Kinberg Offers Update on GAMBIT and How DEADPOOL Helped it Along
Fox’s Gambit film project hasn’t had a smooth road since it was first announced. At one point Channing Tatum was looking to drop out of the project, then director Rupert Wyatt bailed on the projectm, and was quickly replaced by Doug Liman, and then recently the film was pulled from Fox’s release schedule. The movie is still moving forward, though.
Producer Simon Kinberg recently offered an update on the film. Continue reading

After Failing In the Past and Present Day, WOLVERINE 3 Will Be Set in the Future
With Wolverine 3 being Hugh Jackman’s last time playing the character, this is his last chance to make a decent Wolverine movie. I have no doubt they are going to pull out all the stops and give fans the greatest Wolverine film possible.
We now have a new bit of info on the film for you. While talking to CinemaBlend, producer Simon Kinberg revealed the filling information: Continue reading
Simon Kinberg Says X-FORCE Movie Could Be Rated R
In the wake of Deadpool‘s massive box office success, it shouldn’t be too long until we hear about an X-Force movie officially getting the green light and moving into production at 20th Century Fox. Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow wrote a script a couple of years ago, and was supposed to be directing the live-action feature, but that never ended up happening. But Ryan Reynolds has spoken about X-Force as “a priority,” and considering how much money Deadpool made this past weekend, I’d guess Fox will push that plan through fairly quickly. Continue reading
