We got to see paparazzi photos of Hugh Jackman out shopping with his wife. The interesting thing about these images is that they showed the actor sporting his new look for Wolverine 3. And he’s definitely a little gray around the edges. This has only helped fuel speculation that the actor is portraying Old Man Logan, a take on the iconic Marvel Mutant that spans multiple comic book issues. We have our first set photos, and they only help back this notion up. Continue reading

After Failing In the Past and Present Day, WOLVERINE 3 Will Be Set in the Future
With Wolverine 3 being Hugh Jackman’s last time playing the character, this is his last chance to make a decent Wolverine movie. I have no doubt they are going to pull out all the stops and give fans the greatest Wolverine film possible.

Hugh Jackman Confirms OLD MAN LOGAN As The Next WOLVERINE Movie

Hugh Jackman appropriately kicked off the X-Men portion of Fox’s Marvel panel, confirming (again) that the next Wolverine movie will be his last, and seemingly revealing that the James Mangold helmed release is going to be based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Old Man Logan…
“I’ve got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan,” Hugh Jackman told the packed out Hall H panel for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming Marvel slate last night. Does that mean his third and final Wolverine movie is going to adapt that critically acclaimed comic book story? Maybe! Some major alterations will need to be made, but it does sound like the plan is to head in that direction.
The actor followed that comment up by saying, “As I promised, this next time is my last time putting on the claws, it’s one last time,” as the image you see below appeared behind him (it seems to be a promotional shot from a previous movie starring the character rather than a teaser image specifically shot for The Wolverine sequel).
I can tell you I am excited about this news. Are you? What are you hoping to see in the movie?
