It’s that time again pop culture fans! We have a blizzard of a “Versus” for you this time! We take two cold masters, and turn them against one another. On the south pole, we have Iceman from Marvel Comics. And on the north pole, we have Mr. Freeze from DC Comics. Both of our characters have aired in movies, tv and video games over the years! (You might want to thank them for having those movie theatres air-conditioned during those blistering summers.) Twenty Seven (27!) Actors Who Could Replace Hugh Jackman As Wolverine
Hugh Jackman has just hung up his adamantium claws for good, his third Wolverine movie being the actor’s final outing as the X-Men character. (Allegedly). Although Jackman’s take on Wolverine has been different in some notable ways from how the character has typically been presented in Marvel comics, for many, Jackman’s name has become synonymous with the character. His tenure in the role (Jackman will have portrayed Wolverine over a span of 17 years across nine different films when all is said and done), combined with his gruff, yet amiable performance, means that whoever inherits the role will have the almost impossible task of living up to what Jackman brought to the table. While there are reportedly no current plans to recast the role once Jackman is done, any of the following actors would do a fine job as the next Wolverine if and when the role is eventually recast. Just about any male actor that has starred in a fighting movie, vampire movie, HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” or any CW series is eligible, and frankly, I think this Who’s Who’s List of Hollywood hunks have included them all. Anson Mount Will Be The ‘Inhumans’ Black Bolt
Getting the Inhumans onto our screens has been a very interesting development process. What began as a film due to be released in 2019 as part of the MCU’s Phase Three is now a TV show on ABC with its first two episodes expected to have a theatrical release in IMAX theaters this year. Earlier in February, it was announced that Iwan Rheon had been cast as the treacherous Maximus The Mad, Black Bolt’s brother. Next X-Men Movie Eyes Simon Kinberg to Direct
Although Hugh Jackman‘s time as Wolverine appears to be coming to an end with Logan, 20th Century Fox‘s X-Men movie franchise looks like it may just be getting started. Collider reports that Simon Kinberg is in talks with the studio to write and direct the next X-Men movie, rumored to be titled “X-Men: Supernova”. Kinberg has been involved as a writer and producer of every X-Men film since 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. If he takes the director’s chair on the next X-Men movie, it will mark his feature film directorial debut. Continue reading

Developed and manufactured in partnership with Prime 1 Studio, we are proud to present Anti-Venom. Eddie Brock was debonded from the Venom symbiote, traces of it were left in his body. Later, suffering from cancer, Brock started working as a volunteer in the F.E.A.S.T. Center. Martin Li, the alter-ego of Mr. Negative, and founder of F.E.A.S.T. used his powers to cure Eddie’s cancer. In the process, he accidentally infused the remnants of the symbiote in Eddie’s bloodstream with his power and fused them to his white blood cells, creating a new hybrid symbiote which manifested when the Venom symbiote attempted to leave its then-current host and return to Eddie. This new symbiote had powerful healing powers and other powers that differ from the Venom symbiote, producing antibodies that can cure any known disease and remove any other impurities within a human body. Unlike other symbiotes, this symbiote is completely mindless and Eddie Brock is in full control of his actions. Continue reading
