As many of you have already read, a rumor recently surfaced regarding Spider-Man and how he would be appearing in Tom Hardy‘s upcoming Venom. Well, the source behind that rumor, Jon Schnepp, is now doubling down on his scoop, but there is a little change to it. He originally said:

“I’m gonna say it right here on this show, Spider-Man is gonna be in Venom. For the last couple months, we’ve been talking about Venom, we’ve been hearing about how Sony’s keeping it all separated. Spider-Man’s in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but every other character that’s in the Spider-Man universe is separate.”

Now in a recent episode of Collider Heroes, he remained confident that Tom Holland is going to be in the movie, but not as Spider-Man, this time he says he will show up just as Peter Parker. Here’s what he said:

There’s a chance that it could be Venom!

Carnage Confirmed to Appear in Tom Hardy’s VENOM and Kraven and Mysterio Will Get Standalone Films

Some interesting new information regarding the Spider-Man cinematic universe that Sony Pictures is developing. As you’ve probably already heard by now, Spider-Man: Homecoming producer Amy Pascal said that Tom Holland‘s version of Spider-Man will exist in that cinematic universe that will launch with Venom. That will be followed by a Black Cat and Silver Sable movie.

It was confirmed in a recent report from THR that “Holland is only contractually obligated to Spider-Man 2 and 3, but the intention is to bring him into the spinoffs and possibly other Marvel films.” So we will eventually see Spider-Man in this separate universe that Sony is developing.

Twenty Seven (27!) Actors Who Could Replace Hugh Jackman As Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has just hung up his adamantium claws for good, his third Wolverine movie being the actor’s final outing as the X-Men character. (Allegedly). Although Jackman’s take on Wolverine has been different in some notable ways from how the character has typically been presented in Marvel comics, for many, Jackman’s name has become synonymous with the character. His tenure in the role (Jackman will have portrayed Wolverine over a span of 17 years across nine different films when all is said and done), combined with his gruff, yet amiable performance, means that whoever inherits the role will have the almost impossible task of living up to what Jackman brought to the table. While there are reportedly no current plans to recast the role once Jackman is done, any of the following actors would do a fine job as the next Wolverine if and when the role is eventually recast. Just about any male actor that has starred in a fighting movie, vampire movie, HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” or any CW series is eligible, and frankly, I think this Who’s Who’s List of Hollywood hunks have included them all.  Continue reading

There has been talk of more Mad Max sequels since before Fury Road was released, and it’s good to hear that director George Miller is still developing them. There’s still no word on if Charlize Theron will officially reprise her role as Furiosa as previously rumored. The sequel was original supposed to be called Mad Max: The Wasteland, but it looks like that might not actually be the case. In an interview with Deadline, the director says: Continue reading

Hugh Jackman Suggests Tom Hardy As The Next Wolverine

Hugh Jackman is preparing to play Logan one last time in his third standalone Wolverine movie. After that, we have no idea what to expect from 20th Century Fox when it comes to the character. There’s no way that the studio is going to give up on this cash cow, and we’re all expecting them to cast someone else in the role.

During an interview with MTV, Jackman is asked who he would like to see take over the role. After saying that a younger actor will most likely take over for him, he drops the name of Tom Hardy as a good fit for the role. That’s a suggestion that’s not hard to argue with. Hardy would make a freakin’ badass Wolverine! Continue reading
