Two More MAD MAX Films are on their way!
We’ve known for awhile that George Miller had plans for more Mad Max films. Then after the success of Mad Max: Fury Road, it seemed like it was safe to assume that Warner Bros. would want to move forward on a sequel. Next Two MAD MAX Films will be Prequels
Although we already knew our new Max, Tom Hardy, had signed on for three films, Nerdist has broken the news that those two films will in fact be… PREQUELS. Does this mean more Furiosa? Please let this mean more Furiosa.
Nerdist also reports that Hugh Keays-Byrne, the actor that plays the villain Immortan Joe, is also aboard for the prequels.
All that remains is to convince Charlize Theron to agree to return as Furiosa. Almost everyone who has seen Mad Max Fury Road wants to see more of her character, Furiosa. George Miller initially stated that the next movie was going to be titled Mad Max Furiosa, but now the working title will be Mad Max The Wasteland.
