Everyone that worked on Avengers: Infinity War is hard at work doing the press tour and dealing with interview questions while avoiding giving spoilers. That being said, we will be getting into some spoilers now, so look away if you haven’t seen the film yet.
Hot Toys has finally pulled back the curtain on their Avengers: Infinity War Iron Spider 1/6th scale collectible action figure and it’s a must own for any hardcore Marvel toy collector! As you can see, the figure even includes his four extra arms, which we haven’t seen any footage of yet. It’s funny that Marvel has no problems with showing these extra arms in the toys and promo art, but they won’t show us any footage of Iron Spider with them in action. Regardless, we won’t have to wait much longer because the movie will be released in less than a week!
As many of you have already read, a rumor recently surfaced regarding Spider-Man and how he would be appearing in Tom Hardy‘s upcoming Venom. Well, the source behind that rumor, Jon Schnepp, is now doubling down on his scoop, but there is a little change to it. He originally said:
“I’m gonna say it right here on this show, Spider-Man is gonna be in Venom. For the last couple months, we’ve been talking about Venom, we’ve been hearing about how Sony’s keeping it all separated. Spider-Man’s in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but every other character that’s in the Spider-Man universe is separate.”
Now in a recent episode of Collider Heroes, he remained confident that Tom Holland is going to be in the movie, but not as Spider-Man, this time he says he will show up just as Peter Parker. Here’s what he said:
In the comics, Flash Thompson was always a hulking bully who terrorized Peter Parker in high school. So when Marvel cast the scrawny Tony Revolori in the role, many people began to scratch their heads. Hasbro has revealed their line of Spider-Man: Homecoming action figures. There are a couple of 6-inch figures of Spidey, the villain Vulture, a Spider-Man car, and a couple playsets. The coolest thing in the collection is the Spider-Man action figure featuring Peter Parker’s homemade suit. This suit has been briefly teased in Captain America: Civil War and in the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming because apparently, we’ll be getting a little back story on Parker before he meets up with Tony Stark and gets his new suit. This is our best look yet at Spidey’s early costume. It looks lie a bootleg costume you see in Times Square. Continue reading
I think it’s always been safe to assume that Spider-Man would be back in action fighting alongside the Avengers in Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War. However, there’s been no official confirmation until now, so if any of you had any doubt, Tom Holland confirmed it in an interview with Vogue. After all, the last we heard from Holland on the matter was that Spider-Man’s inclusion in the film was “all up in the air.” Continue reading
