Getting the Inhumans onto our screens has been a very interesting development process. What began as a film due to be released in 2019 as part of the MCU’s Phase Three is now a TV show on ABC with its first two episodes expected to have a theatrical release in IMAX theaters this year. Earlier in February, it was announced that Iwan Rheon had been cast as the treacherous Maximus The Mad, Black Bolt’s brother. Marvel & ABC Give ‘Mockingbird’ TV Series MARVEL’S MOST WANTED A Pilot Order

Variety has confirmed that ABC have ordered a pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff which is still set to revolve around Adrianne Palicki’s Mockingbird and her ex-husband, Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). They’re set to be the main stars of the new series, and it was previously reported that:

Insiders say the series is not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story. Though plot details are scarce at this point, ‘Marvel’s Most Wanted’ will follow the pair and their adventures together.

It’s definitely an interesting premise, but will it work? That obviously remains to be seen, but the show has some impressive talents behind the scenes, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski who co-created the project and are co-writing the pilot. The network has never before acknowledged its existence, but ABC President Paul Lee today promised that the script is “really good” when confirming that it’s definitely moving forward. Thoughts?
