LOBO Film Moves Back Into Development. Maybe he’ll be cool again when it’s released.

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment’s feature film adaptation of the comic book Lobo is back in development! There hasn’t been much news on the project since Dwayne Johnson confirmed he might play the title character back in 2012.

According to TheWrap, the studio has hired Wonder Woman screenwriter Jason Fuchs to write the script for the movie. They must have liked what he did with Gal Gadot and Chris Pine’s upcoming film. Continue reading

Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg to Return for Fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie. One is too old for this.

Indiana Jones is swinging back into theaters.

Steven Spielberg will direct Harrison Ford in the untitled fifth installment in the action-adventure franchise, which will open July 19, 2019, Disney announced Tuesday.

“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Disney chairman Alan Horn. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.” Continue reading

Disney and Co. compile the Top Ten possible next Young Han Solo list

Disney, Lucasfilm, and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are still on the hunt for an actor to play young Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars spin-off film. The CW has given early renewals to 11 of its primetime series for the 2016-2017 season!

The CW renewals list includes the shows Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, iZombie, Jane The Virgin, The Originals, Reign, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and The 100.

“The CW has become home to some of the most critically-acclaimed shows on broadcast television,” says The CW’s President, Mark Pedowitz, “with a wide array of fantastic scripted series across the week, ranging from musical comedy, to superhero action, to gritty sci-fi dramas. Tim Burton Shouts “Beetlejuice 2” 3X – sequel is now a go!

Over the years there have been a lot of rumors about Tim Burton’s classic spooky comedy Beetlejuice getting a sequel.

Back in 2012, the director said he was considering a followup and Michael Keaton even said he was interested in reprising the role.

On top of that, Winona Ryder said she too was down for coming back for more Beetlejuice action.
