Lawrence Kasdan on Han Solo Spinoff Film, Confirms It Will Start Shooting in January

Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are currently preparing the upcoming Han Solo movie for production. The script for that film was written by Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jon. As you know, Kasdan has a long history with writing Star Wars films, so it gives a lot of us fans hope that he’s given us one of the best possible early stories for Han Solo.

‘Spider-Man’ Animated Movie Logo Revealed

 

The big news out of Sony Pictures presentation at CinemaCon was the new Spider-Man Tom Holland taking the stage, where the official title Spider-Man: Homecoming was unveiled. However, that wasn’t the only Spidey news that came out of the convention, with the studio unveiling the official logo for their Untitled Animated Spider-Man Project, which is arriving in theaters sometime in 2018. Disney, Lucasfilm, and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are still on the hunt for an actor to play young Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars spin-off film. As you might expect, finding someone to fill Harrison Ford’s shoes has been a huge challenge. Believe It or Not, Greatest American Hero Will Be Walking on Air Once Again

In the 80’s  super heroes really only existed in the comics books  but there was hope in this show!  The idea was an instant hit! and such an original idea! The classic ’80s TV hit The Greatest American Hero is apparently returning to television thanks to Fox, Deadline reports. In case you weren’t aware, the show focuses on a run of the mill teacher who inherits a super-powered red suit from aliens but loses the instructions on how to use it. He ends up discovering the powers built into the suit mostly through slapstick goofball trial and error. It’s (hopefully going to be) a nice, lighter side to the grimdark gritty superhero stuff we’ve been seeing a lot of lately.

Behind the revival are some names that you might recognize: Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the duo behind The LEGO Movie, are slated to produce, and Rick Famuyiwa, Dope director/writer, is set to write. Continue reading
