Dwayne Johnson Confirms 2016 Shooting Schedule and Rampage Writers.

In a new Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson has come back to New Line Cinema for the adaptation of classic Midway arcade game, Rampage. And it looks like it’ll be a full-on San Andreas reunion with that film’s writer Carlton Cuse (as well as his “Colony” co-creator Ryan Condal) to re-team with that film’s director Brad Peyton and producer Beau Flynn. Non-Stop screenwriter Ryan Engle wrote the previous draft of the screenplay, the story for which is said to be “under wraps,” though it will involve the game’s three original beasties going three-on-one with the Great One. ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Almost Had a Yoda Cameo

Star Wars: The Force Awakens went through quite a few rewrites and changes over the course of three years. And we’ve heard a lot about certain classic characters that almost made the cut. Jedi master Yoda may have gotten closest of all, but alas, most of his scenes were cut from the movie, except for a few quick snippets of dialogue. Yoda would have reappeared as a Force Ghost, just as he did at the end of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. But that idea was nixed early on in the process. The Force Awakens editors Maryann Brandon and Mary Jo Markey revealed to ET that the diminutive green warrior was being considered for the sequel. They even went so far as to have original Yoda puppeteer Frank Oz come in and participate. Continue reading →

AVATAR 2 Reportedly Starts Filming in April

Originally set to come out in December of 2014, James Cameron’s Avatar 2 was recently bumped from its December 2017 release date and left in a limbo in which its release date is unspecified. About a month ago, Mark Ruffalo was talking about how the Hulk will be portrayed in Thor: Ragnarok. At the time, he said, “The Banner/Hulk consciousness is beginning to meld a little bit.” Throughout the course of the films we’ve heard the Hulk say little things like “puny God,” but it sounds like the character might be more verbal in the upcoming Thor movie.
