The Uncharted Movie Script is Ready to Go!
Fans who have wanted to see an Uncharted theatrical adaptation for years and years can rejoice. Joe Carnahan (Narc, The Grey) has revealed on Instagram that it’s ready to go – the Uncharted movie script is done! He says: “Done and Dusted. Now the REAL work begins. If there’s a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, ‘cuz this thing is a BEAST.”
Sony Pictures previously hired Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Night at the Museum films, Real Steel) to direct the video game adaptation. Continue reading
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare launch sales down nearly 50% on Black Ops 3 in UK
Launch sales of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” were down 48.5 per cent compared to last year’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3”.
Both Infinite Warfare and Blops 3 launched on a similar Friday in November. Both games had a huge marketing push. But, for a number of reasons, Infinite Warfare sold only half as well.
That’s not to say Infinite Warfare flopped – far from it. Infinity Ward’s sci-fi shooter was still 2016’s second-largest launch in the UK – behind FIFA 17 – despite losing half its sales year-on-year.

Top 10 90’s Coin Op Arcade Games
The 1980s were a simplier times for video games: there weren’t fancy graphics, intricate story-lines, or those mind-numbing videos that you weren’t allowed to skip. The local arcade was the ultimate destination for birthday parties, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, or lazy saturday afternoons. They were loud, exciting, smelly, and packed with the finest assortment of games (and cold pretzels) managed by the nerdiest of gentlemen. Each and every arcade game—whether it was Nintendo or Sega—was similar in its simplicity, but a total blast.
The 1990s were an awesome times for video and arcade games. The graphics improved dramatically – both in 2D and the emerging 3D. The maze and platform genres were supplanted by the fighting, racing, and FPS genres. The 90s was also the golden age for pinball games – but that is another discussion for another time.
By the end of the decade, the home video games surpassed their arcade counterparts, and arcades were going the way of video rental stores. Pinball machines and arcade cabinets made way for crane games, whack-a-moles, basketball cages, and skee ball alleys.

Disney Is Shutting Down Both ‘Marvel: Avengers Alliance’ and ‘Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2’
Bad news if you enjoy playing Disney’s Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 . Disney has decided to shut down both of those games on all platforms on September 30th. In order to ensure that no one spends any more money on the games, purchasing has been disabled as of September 1st. According to the announcement, this was a difficult decision because of the passion and support of all the players, but they want to shift their focus to new titles. They are at this moment shifting developing towards “a growing selection of Disney Mobile apps,” so apparently something needs to go. Continue reading

When it comes to multiplayer Titanfall 2 has earned its credentials – there’s no doubting that mix of fast jet packing humans and giant stompy robots works. But the single player? Wreck-It Ralph 2 Is Coming Spring 2018, First Photo Revealed
Wreck-It Ralph is heading back to the big screen, and this time, he’s wrecking the internet. The Oscar-nominated Walt Disney Animation Studios team from the original film is reteaming for the follow-up Wreck-It Ralph 2, including director Rich Moore (Zootopia, “The Simpsons”) and producer Clark Spencer (Zootopia, Bolt). Phil Johnston (writer, Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, Cedar Rapids) joins Moore as director and a writer on the project. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman return as the bad-guy-turned-good, Ralph, and the girl with the game-winning glitch, Vanellope von Schweetz.

Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely
An announcement on the Warner Bros forums has stated that the remastered collection of Arkham Asylum and City which was planned for next month now no longer has a release date. “Batman: Return to Arkham” was announced in May after a steady stream of leaks but has been delayed to “give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.” Continue reading
