Hayley Atwell made a scheduled appearance at Mega-Con today in Orlando and of course everybody wanted to talk about “Marvel’s Agent Carter” and its recent cancellation. According to reports online, originating from a fan who attended the event, the actress – who plays Peggy Carter on the hit series – told the audience that she was flattered by the support and the petition to revive the series. When asked if she would return to do a third season – that is if the petition is successful – Atwell responded with “Yes. 100 Percent“.I love Peggy. The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, both on the cinematic and TV sides of things, but there has been little to no crossover between the two so far, save for Agent Coulson having appeared first in The Avengers and then headlining “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” However, a new rumor is suggesting that the TV universe will be crossing over with the movie universe for the first time. Apparently, Marvel is considering bringing Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin from the Netflix series “Daredevil” into the first Tom Holland led Peter Parker solo flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Carrie-Anne Moss Will Reprise Her Jessica Jones Role on Iron Fist.

Marvel and Netflix have announced today that a familiar MCU face is joining the cast of their upcoming Iron Fist series. Carrie-Anne Moss, who debuted as lawyer Jeri Hogarth on “Marvel’s Jessica Jones”, will reprise her role on the new show.

“Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga,” says Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in.” Continue reading →

Robert Downey Jr has been on Marvel’s books for eight years now, and the consensus is that he’ll be winding down his Iron Man role sooner or later.
He’s apparently signed up for parts in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War, sure, but an Iron Man 4 film seemed definitely off the table.

Variety is reporting that Robert Downey Jr. will reprise the role of Tony Stark in Sony and Marvel’s upcoming co-production of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The size of his role in this film has not been revealed yet, so Tony’s appearance could be anything from a cameo to a larger supporting role.
