Robert Downey Jr has been on Marvel’s books for eight years now, and the consensus is that he’ll be winding down his Iron Man role sooner or later.
He’s apparently signed up for parts in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War, sure, but an Iron Man 4 film seemed definitely off the table.
Or is it?
“I feel like I could do one more,” Downey told Nightline.
Translation: “I feel like I would like to pay off my mortage, and one gigantic check from Disney would come in handy.”
That would be awesome to see Downey do one more stand alone Iron Man movie. I have loved the energy he has brought to the MCU, and its going to be a shame to see all these actors leave these roles one by one. What are your thoughts on this news? Let us know below!
