We at Podcast Unlimited like to give our characters a run for their money. And this week, we got a top notch battle brawl with men of steel! And no, we aren’t talking about Superman! Over at Marvel Comics, there are some pretty tough customers. For this “Versus,” we have not only two strong competitors with steel-like skin! We have everyone’s favorite strong man from the X-Men, Colossus! And battling him will be the Avengers very own Luke Cage, also known as Power Man! Bryan Singer Has Pitched X-23 to Fox to Be the New Wolverine

It was previously rumored that X-23 might join Logan in director James Mangold’s Wolverine 3. With Hugh Jackman hanging up his claws after this movie, it would make sense to see a Wolverine replacement, and if that happened, Marvel’s new female Wolverine, Laura Kinney, who was previously known as X-23, would be the perfect choice.

Simon Kinberg Offers Update on GAMBIT and How DEADPOOL Helped it Along

Fox’s Gambit film project hasn’t had a smooth road since it was first announced. At one point Channing Tatum was looking to drop out of the project, then director Rupert Wyatt bailed on the projectm, and was quickly replaced by Doug Liman, and then recently the film was pulled from Fox’s release schedule. Here’s a small update about the future of the X-Men movie franchise. During the press junket for X-Men: Apocalypse, writer/producer Simon Kinberg told Collider that a familiar name is going to show up in Josh Boone’s New Mutants movie:

“Right now, as the movie exists, Professor X would be a part of a New Mutants movie.”
