Jake Gyllenhaal to Play Mysterio in Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, Okja) seems finally poised to enter the superhero realm as the actor is reportedly in talks to portray the Marvel supervillain Mysterio in Marvel Studios’ forthcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actor has had a long flirtation with playing a comic book character, having costume tested to replace an injured Tobey Maguire for Spider-Man 2, screentested for Batman Begins, and was circling but ultimately turned down the role of Rick Flag in Suicide Squad. There have also been rumors of Gyllenhaal replacing Ben Affleck in the DCEU for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, though this MCU casting leaves that in doubt.

Agent Coulson Will Be The “New Guy” in S.H.I.E.L.D in CAPTAIN MARVEL

There are a lot of things to be excited about in regards to Captain Marvel. One thing I’m looking forward too is seeing Clark Gregg return to the MCU as Agent Coulson. We know that the film will feature a much younger version of the character and in case you’re wondering how much younger and where he’s at in his career at S.H.I.E.L.D. in the 90s, we have some answers for you from Gregg himself!

While talking to EW, the actor reveals that Coulson will be the new guy at S.H.I.E.L.D. when we see him in the movie.

We got to see a little action from all of them in the trailers, but if you saw the movie, you know that things did play out the way we thought they would. There Are Some Surprising Cameos in DEADPOOL 2 That Aren’t Easy to Catch

Deadpool 2 opened in theaters last night and I’m sure a lot of you already went out and saw it. If you did, there were a few surprising cameos in the film that you may have missed. They aren’t easy to spot! There are a few big cameos that are easy to spot, but some of the others had to be pointed out to me by a friend of mine.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t too thrilled about CBS rebooting Magnum P.I. They cast Jay Hernandez in the role of Thomas Magnum and even though he’s no Tom Selleck, this series actually looks like it could be good! This first trailer is certainly action-packed!

A New THUNDERCATS Series Coming to Cartoon Network and It's Not What I Was Expecting

Warner Bros. Animation is developing a new ThunderCats animated series for Cartoon Network called ThunderCats Roar, and it’s definitely not was I was expecting. I am a huge fan of the original ThunderCats series but what they are doing here definitely isn’t what I want in a ThunderCats series. ThunderCats was a badass show, and although it’s different, I’m not seeing anything really badass about this.

EW released the promo art above and a sneak peek video below that features producer Victor Courtright, who explains that ThunderCats Roar plans on staying true to the original’s premise and will feature tons of action, but that it will also lean into the comedy of the world:

Margot Kidder ‘Superman’ Actress, dies at 69

Image result for Margot KidderMargot Kidder, who found fame as Lois Lane in the 1978 film “Superman,” died Sunday at her home in Montana, her manager confirmed.
She was 69 years old.
According to her manager, the actress died peacefully in her sleep.
Image result for Margot KidderKidder starred opposite Christopher Reeve’s Clark Kent and his alter ego Superman in the original film as well as the three sequels: “Superman II” in 1980, “Superman III” in 1983 and “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” in 1987.
Reeve died in 2004 of complications from an infection, nine years after becoming a quadriplegic following a horse riding accident. Continue reading

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Confirmed For BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Which is Officially in Pre-Production!

It’s happening!!! After all these years of talk about a third Bill & Ted film, Deadline is reporting that Bill & Ted Face The Music is officially in pre-production and that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are officially signed on to reprise their roles as Ted “Theodore” Logan and Bill S. Preston Esq.

The film is currently looking for investors at Cannes and it is said to be one of the hottest properties on the market, so that’s a plus!

The script for the film was written by original creators Chris Matheson (Imagine That) and Ed Solomon (Men in Black), and there’s Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) who is still attached to direct. On top of that, Steven Soderbergh is an executive producer on the project!
