Kate Leth, Amy Reeder, and Kelly Thompson speak out on several subjects!
Marvel Comics celebrates Women’s History with a roundtable discussion consisting of some of their most talented creators: Kate Leth (PATSY WALKER, A.K.A. HELLCAT!), Amy Reeder (MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR), and Kelly Thompson (HAWKEYE). We wanted speak with these creators not only to know who influenced their work but also to get an idea as to how and where they see women affecting the industry as a whole.
After many weeks of mystery, series executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner has taken to Twitter to reveal the title of FOX’s upcoming X-Men TV series, “Gifted”. Donner posted a photo of the cast at a table read for the pilot episode as well, revealing that Joseph Morgan (“The Vampire Diaries, The Originals”) has joined the cast.
The series stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Blair Redford, with Jamie Chung as the mutant Blink, and Natalie Alyn Lind as the mutant Polaris. Continue reading

In “Marvel’s Daredevil”, a Netflix Original Series, war hero Frank Castle’s life was changed forever when his family was brutally murdered before his eyes. Taking matters into his own hands, Frank decides to avenge his family’s death by eliminating all those responsible. Lethal with his methods, Frank becomes a notorious vigilante in the criminal underworld earning the moniker, The Punisher.

Getting the Inhumans onto our screens has been a very interesting development process. What began as a film due to be released in 2019 as part of the MCU’s Phase Three is now a TV show on ABC with its first two episodes expected to have a theatrical release in IMAX theaters this year. Earlier in February, it was announced that Iwan Rheon had been cast as the treacherous Maximus The Mad, Black Bolt’s brother. We have everyone’s favorite strong man from the X-Men, Colossus! And battling him will be the Avengers very own Luke Cage, also known as Power Man! Fans of Marvel Comics have gotten used to fresh new takes on their traditional superheroes in recent years. Thor became a woman, a black man took over as Captain America, and the current Ms. Marvel is a Muslim teenager from Jersey City. On Wednesday morning, news emerged that yet another marquee character was in for a big change.
This time it’s Iron Man, and a black woman named Riri Williams will be replacing billionaire playboy Tony Stark in the suit. The character, who was introduced earlier this year, will be headlining a new “Invincible Iron Man” series that will be spun out of Marvel’s “Civil War II” event. Brian Michael Bendis will write it, while Stefano Caselli will draw the art. Continue reading
Marvel Comics fans lost their collective minds when they read (or read about) “Captain America: Steve Rogers” #1, where it was revealed that Captain America was an agent of Hydra. Not only was it revealed that Steve Rogers has been working with Hydra, but according to the comic, he had been recruited to be an agent of the evil organization back in the 20s. The internet went absolutely crazy over the news, but now everyone can finally calm down. Or possibly get upset for a completely different reason.
