Red Skull May Still Be Alive in The MCU! Could He Show Up in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR?

red-skull-may-still-be-alive-in-the-mcu-could-he-show-up-in-avengers-infinity-war11

Fans have speculated for years that the Red Skull is not dead in the MCU. I personally never believed that he died at the end of Captain America: The First Avengers, and now thanks to an Avengers: Infinity War prelude comic book, we’ve learned that he’s not dead.

ScreenRant pointed out a panel in the comic that features a flashback scene from the film and as you’ll see below, it suggests that Red Skull was not vaporized by an explosion of blue energy from the Tesseract, which contains the Space Stone. Instead, we see a “fooshhhh” of energy transporting him into space! This seems to confirm the big fan theory that the Red Skull is still alive and kicking in the MCU.

Why would a prequel comic to Infinity War make a point of showing us this if Red Skull isn’t being primed to appear in Infinity War? We have no idea where he has been this whole time, but it’s not hard to think or believe that he might actually play a role in Thanos’ big plan of collecting all the Infinity Stones.

Hell, maybe any of the characters that we thought were destroyed by the Infinity Stones aren’t dead at all. Those other characters include Malekith from Thor: The Dark World, Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’s very possible that some of these characters might be alive, but Red Skull is the one that would make most sense.

A few months ago, Samuel L. Jackson seemed to let it slip that Red Skull was still alive, saying:

“You didn’t see me in Civil War. I’m still out there trying to figure out what, you know, The Skull is going to…”

Fox Developing Silver Surfer Movie, Plus X-Men Movie Updates

With the potential merger of Disney and 20th Century Fox lingering in the background, many fans have wondered what the studio will be doing with their Marvel properties before their potential return to the House of Ideas. The Hollywood Reporter has several revelations in a new report that indicates that not only is the studio not slowing down on their Marvel properties, but they’re developing more projects now than they ever have in the past.

First up, to pair it up with Noah Hawley’s (Fargo, Legion) Doctor Doom movie, the outlet reports that Fox is developing a Silver Surfer stand-alone movie which is being written by none other than Eisner award-winning writer Brian K. Vaughan. Little else is known about the project at this point. The Silver Surfer previously made his big screen debut in the Fantastic Four sequel released in 2007.

Ryan Reynolds Shares Photos From When Make-A-Wish and Children’s Wish Visited The Set of DEADPOOL 2

One of the many things that I love about Ryan Reynolds is that the guy has a heart and he took time during his busy schedule to hang out with a bunch of kids on the set of Deadpool 2. The actor recently shared some photos on social media of when the production welcomed Make-A-Wish America and Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada to the set. Reynolds said:

“One of the best parts of playing the Big Red Jackass is welcoming Make-A-Wish America and Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada onto set. Deadpool kicked Cancer in the taint, but these kids do it for real every day. These foundations make dreams come true for a lot of of super-brave kids. They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile. HUGE thanks to our Prop Master, Dan Sissons, for making sure every kid left with his/her own sword. (Bamboo versions. Not stabby-stabby versions.)”

J.J. Abrams Talks About CLOVERFIELD 4 and Says it’s a “Crazy Movie”

J.J. Abrams seems to be enjoying his Cloverfield franchise and the mystery that surrounds it. The Cloverfield Paradox made a surprising debut on Netflix after the Super Bowl. The movie was met with a lot of mixed reviews. Some people downright hated it. A lot of people wondered what the fate of the fourth Cloverfield film would be after Paradox was released.

That film is tentatively titled Overlord and it’s already done shooting. As of right now, the plan is to release it on the big screen. Abrams recently spoke with Digital Spy about the project, but first explains that it was fun to release The Cloverfield Paradox without anyone knowing:

“It didn’t really feel like it was any fun to release [The Cloverfield Paradox] with everybody knowing that it was coming. Could we possibly do this and keep it a secret and release the thing in the way we did? That felt to me like that’s the spirit of these movies, that’s the spirit of the series. So to talk about what the next one is and what’s going to happen sort of feels counter intuitive.”

Kevin Feige Says That BLACK PANTHER is the Best Marvel Movie Ever Made, Do You Agree?

Black Panther is a fun film. I liked how it turned out. It told a great complex story with dramatic layers and it was also fun. But… is it the best Marvel movie ever made? Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige says it is! During an interview with ABC, that you can watch below, Feige said:

“The movie finished, and I looked over at Ryan [Coogler], I said, ‘that’s the best movie we’ve ever made.'”

That’s quite a bold statement from Kevin Feige, but… I have to respectfully disagree. Everyone is going to have their own opinion on this matter because everyone has different tastes. There’s really no right or wrong answer to this.

After watching Black Panther I went back and watched The Winter Soldier and Civil War, and those films are still so amazing. Those along with Iron Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy films I think are better Marvel films than Black Panther. That’s just my opinion, though.
