It’s long been known that the original ending for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was completely scraped for the ending that we ended up seeing in the film. In the alternate ending the plan was for Jyn and Cassian to live to fight another day.

It’s been over six long years since TRON: Legacy hit theaters, and the last time we heard anything about a follow-up, it was Walt Disney Pictures pulling the plug on it in May of 2015, shortly after the failure of Tomorrowland. Disney and Lucasfilm announced Star Wars Force Friday II, a global fan event celebrating the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi products. Toys, collectibles, books, apparel, and more will go on sale beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017, with stores around the world opening for a weekend-long celebration of all things Star Wars. In addition, packaging for the new line, featuring striking images of a lightsaber-wielding Rey, Poe Dameron, and Finn, was also revealed today and can be seen above. Continue reading

Over the last week, rumors have surfaced that Lucasfilm was in talks with the estate of Carrie Fisher to possibly digitally recreate the late actress for Star Wars: Episode IX (she had already finished filming her scenes for Star Wars: Episode VIII before her death on December 27, 2016). Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled for May 4, 2018, and promises to be a massive, epic, worthy “finale” for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first three chapters. By now, the MCU has grown to encompass dozens of heroes—meaning there are plenty of candidates to bite the dust in the epic battle with Thanos. An amusement park or theme park is a group of entertainment attractions, rides, and other events in a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people. Amusement parks have a fixed location, as opposed to travelling funfairs and traveling carnivals, and are more elaborate than simple city parks or playgrounds, usually providing attractions meant to cater specifically to certain age groups, as well as some that are aimed towards all ages. Theme parks, a specific type of amusement park, are usually much more intricately themed to a certain subject or group of subjects than normal amusement parks.
Amusement parks evolved from European fairs and pleasure gardens, which were created for people’s recreation. World’s fairs and expositions were another influence on the development of the amusement park industry.

Bad news if you enjoy playing Disney’s Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 . Disney has decided to shut down both of those games on all platforms on September 30th. In order to ensure that no one spends any more money on the games, purchasing has been disabled as of September 1st. According to the announcement, this was a difficult decision because of the passion and support of all the players, but they want to shift their focus to new titles. They are at this moment shifting developing towards “a growing selection of Disney Mobile apps,” so apparently something needs to go. Continue reading
Lucasfilm has announced an all-new droid set to make his debut in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with the reveal of C2-B5! The only details provided on the astromech from The Star Wars Show are that he is an imperial droid who, unlike droids under the rebels, is subject to frequent memory wipes.
