When Carrie Fisher passed away late last year, there was a lot of speculation about whether or not she’d appear in some way in Star Wars: Episode IX. Her role in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi had been completed before her death, but the next film had not yet begun shooting. Her brother Todd Fisher told The New York Daily News that he and Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd have given Disney and Lucasfilm permission to use recent footage of Carrie Fisher in Star Wars: Episode IX.

Here’s Why ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Is Nothing Like Those Other ‘Spider-Man’ Movies
July 7is a historic day in the world of superhero movies because it is the day Spider-Man: Homecoming arrives in theaters. Why so historic? Well, this new, rebooted version of Spider-Man is the first to be produced by Marvel Studios (The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America) in conjunction with two other studios. As producer Amy Pascal put it, “I don’t think it will ever happen again in the history of the movie business: you have three studios that came together to have this movie being made. And no studio likes to share anything with anyone, let alone three studios.”
What do 4K and HDR actually mean?
Thanks to the latest generation of shiny new consoles from Sony and Microsoft, there’s two fancy new terms to try and get your head around – 4K and HDR (or high-dynamic-range). And, confusingly, the different consoles all do differing amounts of each, from the Pro to a normal PS4, Xbox One to the Xbox One S and the undeniably more powerful Scorpio.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Doesn’t Like the Script for THE PREDATOR and Won’t Be a Part of It
Uh oh. Arnold Schwarzenegger has read the script for Shane Black‘s The Predator and he says he didn’t like it! There was a part for him in the film but after reading the script he decided to not be a part of it. While talking to Yahoo! about the film he said:
“They asked me, and I read it, and I didn’t like it, whatever they offered. So I’m not going to do that, no. Except if there’s a chance that they rewrite it, or make it a more significant role. But the way it is now, no, I won’t do that.”

Don Rickles, Legendary Insult Comic, Dies at 90
Abrasive comic Don Rickles, the honorary Rat Pack member and celebrity roast guest whose career spanned six decades, has died. He was 90.
Rickles died Thursday morning at his home in Los Angeles from kidney failure, his longtime publicist Paul Shefrin confirmed. He would have turned 91 on May 8.
Though he appeared in films and on television, Rickles’ mainstay was always nightclub performances, appearing in Las Vegas and elsewhere into his late 80s. He also found late success as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the “Toy Story” films, which were exceptional box office performers, and popped up frequently on latenight talkshows.

Writer Marc Guggenheim reveals the roster of the newest Brotherhood!
Before the X-Men can even begin to signal their return to Charles Xavier’s dream, there arises a new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants to derail that plan. As the X-MEN GOLD title opens, these sides create the classic tension of the X-Men franchise.
While much of the Brotherhood’s motives and means remain hidden so as to ensure no spoilers, we did our best to pry some information out of writer Marc Guggenheim.
Marvel.com: To start very generally, one of the long debated issues when it comes to the Brotherhood is whether or not they should be the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants or just the Brotherhood of Mutants. Where do you stand on this long-running debate? What makes sense for them? Any insight into why you think about as you do?
Marc Guggenheim: I feel like I may have made a joke in one of the issues with something like, “Calling themselves the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? They should probably just call themselves the Brotherhood of Self-Aware Mutants.”
In general, evil people don’t tend to self-define as evil, but by the end of the arc you will understand why they call themselves evil. In fact, there is a very specific reason for it. It is not a random thing. All will be revealed.

Is his/her next movie waited by critics and audiences alike? And does he/she have the ability to experiment and improve the horizons of cinema? Therefore, you will observe, a Steven Spielberg or even Woody Allen, who have the best filmography among all in the list, figure lower in comparison to someone like Scorsese or David Fincher who are still at the top of his game and are not shy to take the risks. Overall, the shortest way possible to summarize the method we utilized to rank down the list is asking this question to ourselves, “Who are the top directors in Hollywood?”
