Hugh Jackman Confirms OLD MAN LOGAN As The Next WOLVERINE Movie

old man logan

Hugh Jackman appropriately kicked off the X-Men portion of Fox’s Marvel panel, confirming (again) that the next Wolverine movie will be his last, and seemingly revealing that the James Mangold helmed release is going to be based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Old Man Logan

“I’ve got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan,” Hugh Jackman told the packed out Hall H panel for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming Marvel slate last night. Does that mean his third and final Wolverine movie is going to adapt that critically acclaimed comic book story? Maybe! Some major alterations will need to be made, but it does sound like the plan is to head in that direction.

The actor followed that comment up by saying, “As I promised, this next time is my last time putting on the claws, it’s one last time,” as the image you see below appeared behind him (it seems to be a promotional shot from a previous movie starring the character rather than a teaser image specifically shot for The Wolverine sequel).

I can tell you I am excited about this news. Are you? What are you hoping to see in the movie?oldmanlogan

James McAvoy Sporting Professor X’s Signature Look For X-Men: Apocalypse

In the X-Men universe, Professor Charles Xavier has, let’s just call it a signature look, and that look is bald. Like cue ball bald. That’s how he appears in the comics and, as portrayed by Patrick Stewart, in the early X-Men films (as well as for a while in last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past). Up to now, however, every time James McAvoy has played the part, he’s done so with a head full of luxurious brown hair. That’s changing in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, and with production getting under way, we’ve got a sneak peek of what he looks like sans hair follicles. Continue reading

Hugh Jackman On Why He’s Walking Away From Wolverine

Over the last year, Hugh Jackman has been very wishy-washy about playing Wolverine and how much longer he would be playing the character. First X-Men: Days of Future Past was going to be his last movie, then he was going to play the character until he died. Now Wolverine 3 seems like it will in fact be the very last time that Jackman busts out his claws. Continue reading

DEADPOOL Set Photos and Videos – Deadpool Takes on Colossus

Fan Made Poster by CAMW1N

Some more photos from the set of Deadpool have surfaced, and they feature Ryan Reynolds and his stunt-double in costume taking on Colossus. Or at least a giant man named Andre Tricoteux dressed up in a motion-capture suit, who will be replaced by a CGI Colossus in the final product. There are also shots of Ed Skrein as Ajax and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Some of the photos may contain SPOILERS, so I wouldn’t look or read any further if you’re not in to the whole spoiler thing. Continue reading

Bryan Singer Confirms Ben Hardy Is Angel In X-Men: Apocalypse

Bryan Singer has confirmed exclusively to Empire that Angel will be in X-Men: Apocalypse, and that he’ll be played by Ben Hardy.

Hardy, a former EastEnders star, was cast a while back, but his character name was withheld. But as the latest X-Men movie gets closer to production in Montreal, speculation has abounded for weeks that he would be playing Angel, a winged mutant who was one of the original X-Men, so Empire got on the phone with Singer and asked him for confirmation.
