Tom Hanks Couldn’t Face The Crew of TOY STORY 4 Because it Was Too Emotional

We recently heard Toy Story star Tim Allen talk about getting emotional while working on Toy Story 4, and it looks like he’s not the only one. Co-star Tom Hanks has come on record talking about how emotional he was getting while working on the final scene of the film.

“It was the first time that we were going to be recording the end of the movie, and Toy Story [4] is going to have an impactful ending.

The way you record Toy Story, you’re in a room with the team that has created it. When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you’re facing him so he can look right up and you can talk about it.

I didn’t want to see them and pretended they couldn’t see me.”

Netflix Cancels Iron Fist After Two Seasons

Netflix Cancels Iron Fist After Two Seasons

Iron Fist was among the four initial series that Marvel sold to Netflix back in 2013, and it was also one of the most divisive. While the first season took a beating from critics, the recently released second season received a warmer reception and higher praise. But it apparently wasn’t enough to convince Netflix to order another season.

Via Deadline, Netflix and Marvel released a joint announcement confirming Iron Fist‘s cancellation after two seasons. In a statement, they said “Marvel’s Iron Fist will not return for a third season on Netflix. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is proud of the series and grateful for all of the hard work from our incredible cast, crew and showrunners. We’re thankful to the fans who have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership we’ve shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on.”

Thomas Wayne Will Be Played By Brett Cullen in DC’s JOKER

Actor Brett Cullen has replaced Alec Baldwin in the role of Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce Wayne, in DC Entertainment’s Joker. Cullen previously played a Congressman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, so this isn’t his first Batman movie rodeo. He seems like a decent choice for the role. I like the thought of him in the role more than Baldwin. That was just alittle too weird.

Cullen joins Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, who we recently got our first look at in the film. He also joins Robert De NiroFrances ConroyMarc Maron, and Zazie Beetz. De Niro will play a reporter; Beetz will play a single mother who catches the attention of the Joker prior to his transformation the villain; and Conroy will play Joker’s mother, Penny.

Last week we got our first look at Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) coming face to face with Jason Todd (Curran Walters) in DC Universe’s upcoming series Titans. Now today we have a new promo spot for the series that focuses on the awkward moment where Batman’s new Robin introduces himself to the old Robin. And in case you’re wondering why Grayson says “Fuck Batman” in the first trailer, maybe it’s because he found out that Jason Todd actually gets to drive the Batmobile, which is apparently something he never got to do. Enjoy the clip!
