It’s Official: Spider-Man Enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Well here it is its finally been announced! Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Studios officially announced today that Sony is bringing Marvel into the amazing world of Spider-Man! Under a new deal, a new Spider-Man will first appear in a currently-unspecified Marvel film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures will thereafter release the next installment of its $4 billion Spider-Man franchise, on July 28, 2017, in a film that will be co-produced by Kevin Feige and his expert team at Marvel and Amy Pascal, who oversaw the franchise launch for the studio 13 years ago. Together, they will collaborate on a new creative direction for the web slinger. Sony Pictures will continue to finance, distribute, own and have final creative control of the Spider-Man films. Lady Sif Set to Appear Once Again on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel Entertainment (via TV Insider) has announced that Jaimie Alexander will reprise her role of Lady Sif in an upcoming episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” having previously appeared in Episode 15. Marvel has released the trailer for their new Netflix series, Daredevil, and it looks incredible! This intense action series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer by day and Daredevil by night. He relies on his other heightened senses to fight crime and kick ass.
