Here’s an interesting rumor regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Rich Johnston at Bleeding Cool is reporting that that he overheard “well connected sources” in bars late at night after New York Comic Con saying that Marvel Studios plans to move the Inhumans movie completely off their release slate. Sam Alexander isn’t alone anymore in the upcoming Nova #1. With his dad Jesse back in the fold, it is time for the Alexander family to get a fresh start, but there are still some mysteries as to what Jesse has been through while he was lost, and that will be the main focus of Sean Ryan and Cory Smith’s first arc. Nova has been excellent for awhile now, even without Richard Rider at the helm, and hopefully this will be a good place for new fans to hop on.
To say MacGruber is one of the best movies based on a Saturday Night Live sketch isn’t that big of a compliment, but it’s also one of the funniest, most ridiculous action movies in the past five years. Perhaps appropriately, given its hero’s (hilarious) lack of ability to avert explosions in the sketch, the movie bombed at the box office, but it gained a cult following on home video.
