Pacific Rim 2 Cast: Is Scott Eastwood Drift Compatible?

Following an announcement earlier today that sees the Universal Pictures and Legendary Entertainment sequel set a February 23, 2018 release date, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the Pacific Rim 2 cast may have found a second star. John Williams Will Score Indiana Jones 5 & Star Wars: Episode VIII

The American Film Institute held a red carpet event honoring legendary film composer John Williams with a lifetime achievement award. The 84-year-old Williams, whose work on all four Indiana Jones films as well as all seven Star Wars Saga films are career-defining, took the opportunity to assure the world he would be back for Lucasfilm‘s next installments of both franchises.
“If I can do it, I certainly will,” Williams confirmed to Variety of his commitment to do the music for Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII, currently in the home stretch of filming. “I told Kathy Kennedy I’m happy to do it, but the real reason is, I didn’t want anybody else writing music for Daisy Ridley.” Continue reading
Pacific Rim 2 Gets Force Awakens Star John Boyega in the Lead

Pacific Rim 2 is getting a sci-fi genre fan-favorite, and it’s a pretty big deal! It may be a little hard to believe, but it has already been three years since Guillermo Del Toro brought Pacific Rim to the big screen. Though the film didn’t quite kill it at the domestic box office, it did do pretty well internationally, and spawned comic books, an in-development animated series and a whole lot of merchandise, so the franchise potential is there and a sequel is on the way. New Ghostbusters Is Funnier & Scarier Than Original Says Biased Person Making a Cameo in Film

This should go over like a wheelbarrow full of lead-laced bricks. But shortly after original Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson tweeted then deleted some disparaging remarks about this summer’s remake, co-creator of the franchise Dan Aykroyd stepped into shower praise on director Paul Feig’s hugely criticized summer blockbuster. Some are claiming that Sony is holding a gun to Danny’s head, demeaning that he speak highly of the movie on social media. Other’s are now slamming Aykroyd for his personal thoughts, just because they don’t mesh with the very loud critics coming out against the movie. Predator Costume Will Get Upgraded for Sequel

Shane Black says the Predator costume design will get an upgrade for the new film.
Director Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Lethal Weapon) and his The Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker have been working on an “inventive sequel” to 20th Century Fox’s Predator since 2014, turning in the script late last year and revealing a teaser image in February. Now Black is on the campaign trail for his brilliant new detective movie, The Nice Guys, and we got to ask him if he plans to change Stan Winston‘s iconic Predator costume design for his film, now titled The Predator.
