Will IDW answer why “Command” starts with a “K” in M.A.S.K. comic reboot?
The 1980s cartoon “M.A.S.K.” was one of many action series, and it could make for a hell of an awesome film. With the right script and director, (think George Miller) it could be at the same caliber of greatness as Mad Max: Fury Road. If you hope that Paramount Pictures and the creative team they’ve gathered to develop the film will do the series justice, then you will have another Jem and the Holograms at your hands. If you want this to be somewhat decent, on the other hand… that’s another story.
Before that movie comes out, though, fans will be treated to a comic book reboot from writer Brandon Easton and artist Tony Vargas. The comic is being published by IDW, and according to USA Today, they will be giving it a Fast and Furious spin. Continue reading

I can’t tell you how many people I have talked to about the show. I’ve spoken more about TWD than Star Wars! Women love the show. Men can’t stop talking about it. After a series of teaser images, Marvel have announced a new Thunderbolts series coming this summer from writers Jim Zub and Jon Malin. Spinning out of the upcoming “Avengers: Standoff!” event, the Thunderbolts team will feature several founding members like Moonstone, the Fixer, Atlas, and Mach-V, but with one startling new leader: the Winter Soldier. Steve Rogers Will be Captain America Again!
For well over a year now, Steve Rogers hasn’t been the Star Spangled Man in the pages of Marvel Comics. Not because he had been killed in the line of duty like other heroes, but because the Super-Soldier Serum had been removed from his body and aged him to accurately reflect how old he is. Following that, Steve passed the mantle to his long-time partner Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, now Marvel has announced that Steve will pick up the shield and return as the hero in a new comic series “Captain America: Steve Rogers”.
Writer Nick Spencer (Sam Wilson: Captain America) and artist Jesus Saiz (Swamp Thing) will bring the series to life as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the character. Continue reading
