At the time, he said, “The Banner/Hulk consciousness is beginning to meld a little bit.” Throughout the course of the films we’ve heard the Hulk say little things like “puny God,” but it sounds like the character might be more verbal in the upcoming Thor movie. New Spider-Man Movie Set for IMAX 3D Release
When the new Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movie arrives in 2017, it will be doing so on the biggest screens imaginable. IMAX Theaters today confirmed that Jon Watts’ Spider-Man will arrive in IMAX on its new worldwide date of July 7, 2017. When it comes to Daredevil Season 2, we’ve mostly heard about The Punisher and what he’ll be bringing to Hell’s Kitchen in the next chapter of Daredevil’s story. Elektra is also set to play a big role in the show, but the interest in her character doesn’t seem as high as Punisher.

Steve Rogers Will be Captain America Again!
For well over a year now, Steve Rogers hasn’t been the Star Spangled Man in the pages of Marvel Comics. Not because he had been killed in the line of duty like other heroes, but because the Super-Soldier Serum had been removed from his body and aged him to accurately reflect how old he is. Following that, Steve passed the mantle to his long-time partner Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, now Marvel has announced that Steve will pick up the shield and return as the hero in a new comic series “Captain America: Steve Rogers”.
Writer Nick Spencer (Sam Wilson: Captain America) and artist Jesus Saiz (Swamp Thing) will bring the series to life as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the character. Continue reading
Mark Ruffalo thoughts of THOR: RAGNAROK
Thor: Ragnarok got a lot of attention a few months ago for reportedly being Marvel’s darkest movie yet, but with more recent aspects like the movie’s new director, how Odin is going to be treated, and the desire for more comedy in the film, so far it sounds a lot more lighthearted than its title indicates (Ragnarok is the Norse apocalypse). A lot can change between now and when the movie goes into production (and we’re obviously only hearing about small elements at a time, not the whole picture), but the latest statement from Mark Ruffalo — who will co-star as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk opposite Chris Hemsworth’s title hero — seems to be the latest thing that points to the movie being a little lighter than we expected. Sony Moves Up Spider-Man Release Date
Sony Pictures has announced a few changes to their release calendar starting with their upcoming Spider-Man reboot, a co-production with Marvel Studios. Previously set for July 28, 2017, Spider-Man will now be released on July 7, 2017. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales previously held that spot, but it was just moved to May 2017.
