Superman will finally show his face on Supergirl next season


Superman will make his first real appearance on “Supergirl” next season. Variety reports that casting is currently underway for Clark Kent, who’ll appear in the first two episodes of the series’ second season this fall. The announcement paves the way to the first new live-action portrayal of the Man of Steel on TV since “Smallville” ended in 2011.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg expressed excitement about the prospect of having Superman on the show, speaking also for fellow producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler. “Greg, Ali and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” he said. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!” Continue reading

Mary Jane Watson VS. Lois Lane!

Back when we had our “Versus” match-up between Lana Lang and Gwen Stacy, one voter commented that he preferred Lois Lane and MJ. Never to turn down a request, we waited for the release of the much anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie so that the two iconic battles would coincide with one another.

So we present to you the women behind the heroes match up! We have Marvel’s web crawling Spider-Man’s one and only Mary Jane! And then we have DC’s Boy Scout’s, (Superman), Lois Lane! SMALLVILLE Star Tom Welling Talks Reprising SUPERMAN Role For CBS’ SUPERGIRL

For over ten years, Tom Welling captivated the minds of fans worldwide as he brought DC’s most iconic son – Superman – to life in the hit superhero drama “Smallville”. However, ever since the show ended its 218-episode run back in May of 2011, Welling took a much-needed break and stepped away from the limelight, only resurfacing to make the occassional appearance in smaller films such as Draft DayParkland, and the The Choice.
