‘Arrow’ Adds Artemis for Season 5

Troubled teen Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin) will return to “Arrow” in Season 5, Variety has learned, and after her brief stint behind Black Canary’s mask last season, she’s definitely been bitten by the vigilante bug. Evelyn was last seen in episode 419, “Canary Cry,” when she impersonated the fallen Black Canary to seek revenge on Damien and Ruvé Darhk for the murder of her parents.

Superman will finally show his face on Supergirl next season


Superman will make his first real appearance on “Supergirl” next season. Variety reports that casting is currently underway for Clark Kent, who’ll appear in the first two episodes of the series’ second season this fall. The announcement paves the way to the first new live-action portrayal of the Man of Steel on TV since “Smallville” ended in 2011.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg expressed excitement about the prospect of having Superman on the show, speaking also for fellow producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler. “Greg, Ali and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” he said. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!” Continue reading

Matt Ryan’s Constantine Will Appear on ARROW

DC Comics’ Constantine may have been canceled by NBC, but actor Matt Ryan is going to reprise his role as John Constantine in the fourth season of Arrow! The news was announced at The CW’s Television Critics Association press tour presentation.
