Christopher Lloyd: I’d Do ‘Back to the Future: Part IV’

Christopher Lloyd

During an interview with THR on Wednesday, Lloyd says he’d sign on immediately if the whole gang — Robert Zemeckis, Bob Gale, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson and Thomas F. Wilson — got back together for one more time-traveling adventure.

“I would love to do Doc again, no question,” Lloyd says.

The blockbuster franchise has experienced a cultural resurgence recently as October 21st, 2015 approaches. The date, dubbed Back to the Future Day, coincides with the exact date in Back to the Future: Part II where Marty travels to the future from 1985. A fourth installment in the series is unlikely, but fun to imagine for Lloyd, who turns 77 next week.

“It’s tough to come up with an idea that contains the excitement of the original three,” Lloyd says. “So it would be a real challenge for the writers to come up with an original Back to the Future story that has the same passion and intensity and excitement as the other three. But it could be done, you never know,” he adds with a chuckle. Continue reading

Will Forte Teases The “Gnarly” Potential Cold Open of MACGRUBER 2

To say MacGruber is one of the best movies based on a Saturday Night Live sketch isn’t that big of a compliment, but it’s also one of the funniest, most ridiculous action movies in the past five years. Perhaps appropriately, given its hero’s (hilarious) lack of ability to avert explosions in the sketch, the movie bombed at the box office, but it gained a cult following on home video. It’s beloved by entertainment journalists, and practically every time someone interviews star Will Forte, he’s asked about a possible sequel. Continue reading

John Wick was one of 2014’s most badass and wicked awesome action films. I loved every freakin’ minute of it, and I’m excited for the sequel that’s in development.
