DEADPOOL Set Photos and Videos – Deadpool Takes on Colossus

Fan Made Poster by CAMW1N

Some more photos from the set of Deadpool have surfaced, and they feature Ryan Reynolds and his stunt-double in costume taking on Colossus. Or at least a giant man named Andre Tricoteux dressed up in a motion-capture suit, who will be replaced by a CGI Colossus in the final product. There are also shots of Ed Skrein as Ajax and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Some of the photos may contain SPOILERS, so I wouldn’t look or read any further if you’re not in to the whole spoiler thing. Continue reading

Bryan Singer Confirms Ben Hardy Is Angel In X-Men: Apocalypse

Bryan Singer has confirmed exclusively to Empire that Angel will be in X-Men: Apocalypse, and that he’ll be played by Ben Hardy.

Hardy, a former EastEnders star, was cast a while back, but his character name was withheld. But as the latest X-Men movie gets closer to production in Montreal, speculation has abounded for weeks that he would be playing Angel, a winged mutant who was one of the original X-Men, so Empire got on the phone with Singer and asked him for confirmation. Deadpool: First Look At Brianna Hildebrand As Negasonic Teenage Warhead

Ryan Reynolds has tweeted out the first look at newcomer Brianna Hildebrand as the mutant called Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

In the comics, she was created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. She was introduced during the “E for Extinction” story arc. She was a part of Emma Frost’s class for psychics on Genosha, and died during the storyline’s wild Sentinel assault on the island nation of mutants. She has psychic powers and got her interesting name from the Monster Magnet song.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool slices into theaters February 12, 2016.

Hugh Jackman Hints At Final Appearance As Wolverine

Hugh Jackman’s time as Wolverine may be coming to an end.

The actor, who has portrayed the “X-Men” character since the beginning of the franchise in 2000, hinted on Instagram on Saturday that he may be doing that just one more time.

Cinemablend reported rumors earlier this week that Wolverine will indeed make an appearance in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Could this be the appearance Jackman is talking about? Without Jackman as Wolverine, will the franchise crumble to pieces? We’d guess probably not, but one should never underestimate the Power of Jackman.

With great power, comes great irresponsibility. @deadpoolmovie

This should be exciting news for fans, especially since Reynolds and Fox seem committed to getting the film right before it hits theaters next year. Buzz for the movie has been building steadily for weeks now, coupled with announcements that Morena Baccarin and T.J. Miller have joined the cast dropping recently. Deadpool hits theaters on February 12th, 2016.

The upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse is aiming to be both a closing chapter and a new start for the classic Marvel characters on the big screen. Though planned as the conclusion of the “First Class” trilogy, the film will also introduce younger versions of previously-seen characters and seemingly pave the road for a new batch of “X-Men” movies to follow. One of those new additions is “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, who believes her work on the HBO series led to her getting cast in the film. Continue reading
