Many moviegoers ridiculed the look of Evan Peter’s Quicksilver heading into last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the speedster mutant ended up having the last laugh. One of the most memorable moments in Bryan Singer’s film was a jaw-dropping slow-motion sequence showcasing Quicksilver’s powers, as he foiled Pentagon guards’ attempt to capture Wolverine, Charles Xavier, and Magneto.
Quicksilver was a scene stealer, but his time on-screen was very brief. Needless to say, fans are eagerly awaiting his return in next summer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, where Quicksilver will be on a personal mission to find his father and gets “sucked up into this whole Apocalypse madness.” Those hoping he gets another action scene won’t be disappointed, since an even larger one is in the cards.
Thor: Ragnarok is shaping up to be the most epic Thor movie yet. We know that The Hulk will be involved with the story and that the two characters will mostly likely get into another fight. There have also been rumors that Valkyrie could make her big screen debut. It’s been said that Marvel is “looking to cast some great women in this movie.”

So it looks like Bradley Cooper may have just dropped a very big SPOILER regarding a major character in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The rumor originated at a site called Peel The Orange, and at first they reported that the series Iron Fist will be canceled and replaced with a Punisher series. Over the weekend, Marvel announced that they will be a releasing a new Disney Kingdoms comic book that focuses on The Haunted Mansion. Guillermo del Toro has slowly been developing a feature film adaptation of the classic Disneyland attraction for years. I know that film project isn’t dead yet. For some reason, though, they are just taking their sweet time with it.
The Haunted Mansion comic will be a horror-comedy that, obviously, focuses on the haunted mansion and all of the ghosts who inhabit its walls. Three of these ghosts are teased, and those are, of course, the hitchhiking ghosts.
There’s no official information on the plot or when the comic will be released, but it’s expected to launch sometime early next year. As a huge fan of The Haunted Mansion I’m excited to see what they plan on doing with this comic.
