Next Two MAD MAX Films will be Prequels
Although we already knew our new Max, Tom Hardy, had signed on for three films, Nerdist has broken the news that those two films will in fact be… PREQUELS. Does this mean more Furiosa? Please let this mean more Furiosa.
Nerdist also reports that Hugh Keays-Byrne, the actor that plays the villain Immortan Joe, is also aboard for the prequels.
All that remains is to convince Charlize Theron to agree to return as Furiosa. Almost everyone who has seen Mad Max Fury Road wants to see more of her character, Furiosa. George Miller initially stated that the next movie was going to be titled Mad Max Furiosa, but now the working title will be Mad Max The Wasteland.
BeBop Has Been Cast in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2
Paramount Pictures and director David Green have cast Gary Anthony Williams in the role of the villainous sidekick Bebop in their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. The Craft Remake by Sony
A remake of the 1996 supernatural feature, The Craft, is in development at Sony Pictures. The Hollywood Reporter has the news, bringing word that Sony has set Leigh Janiak to both write and direct the new version. Janiak is best known for her debut feature, Honeymoon, which she also scripted with Phil Graziadei. Graziadei is also attached to write The Craft with Janiak. Continue reading

Lionsgate Announces JOHN WICK 2, Keanu Reeves and Original Directors Returning
Lionsgate just sent out a press release confirming development of John Wick 2, which had been rumored for the past couple of months. Keanu Reeves will return to reprise the title role, while directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch will be back behind the camera and writer Derek Kolstad is back to pen the screenplay. The plot is being kept under wraps for now, but the studio released this logline:
