Kathleen Kennedy Clarifies That Han Solo’s Name Is Actually Han Solo

Kathleen Kennedy is doing some cleanup work following the conclusion of Star Wars Celebration. Kennedy responded to the statement (via Slashfilm) saying she’s not sure what Iger meant by the statement…

“I’m not sure that’s entirely what Bob [Iger] meant. There’s more to Han Solo’s name, but it’s not that it’s not his name. It’s obviously his name. It will always be his name.”

I guess ultimately it would depend on how it was handled, but we all know how fans of Star Wars react when the past is changed. The new Han Solo film is due out May 25th, 2018.
