Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Casts Brittany Ishibashi as Karai
Deadline brings word that Brittany Ishibashi (“Emily Owens M.D.,” “Political Animals”) is set to take on the role of Karai for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Briefly played by Minae Noji in the 2014 film, the character is one of the leaders of the legendary Foot Clan in the source material and in the original comics outranked the Shredder. In other versions of the series, the character is the adoptive daughter of the turtles’ sworn enemy; however, she sometimes served as an ally for the heroes.
Megan Fox and Will Arnett lead the cast for the film that also includes William Fichtner as Eric Sacks and newcomers Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee as the new Shredder, Stephen Amell as the sports-themed vigilante Casey Jones, and Gary Anthony Williams as the humanoid warthog, Bebop. Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Noel Fisher will reprise their roles as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo (Johnny Knoxville did the voice), and Michelangelo.
The original film, which grossed more than $485 million at the worldwide box office, also starred Danny Woodburn and Tony Shalhoub.
Set to be directed by Earth to Echo‘s David Green, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is set for release on June 3, 2016.

Brian Tee has been cast as the Shredder in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.”
New movie, new Shredder: Variety has word that the upcoming “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” will feature Brian Tee in the role of Shredder. Producer Michael Bay released three images from the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 on his website, and they show off the vehicles that we will see in the movie. The vehicles you see here include a garbage truck that has been transformed into an urban assault party wagon vehicle for the Ninja Turtles as well as a Polaris Slingshot.
Bebop & Rocksteady Confirmed For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 – UPDATE
Paramount has confirmed that fan favorite henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady will appear in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
At Paramount’s Cinemacon presentation, the studio showed renderings of the characters as they appear in the film’s current stage of development, likely the same rendering that leaked to the public weeks ago before being squashed by Paramount. Continue reading
