Awesomely Nostalgic STAR WARS Commercial for STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT

Like many of you, I grew up on Star Wars. One of the things I liked to do most was play with the Star Wars action figures and imagine my own adventures. This commercial for Star Wars Battlefront plays on that idea, and its target market is all of those people who grew up with these films and toys in their lives. It hardly even touches on the video game aspect of Star Wars. The commercial is basically a short film that explodes with Star Wars nostalgia. Return to the Original Animated Series in Transformers Devastation

Though E3 is set to officially begin this week, BestBuy.Ca (via IGN) jumped the gun on one new title set to be revealed in the form of “Transformers Devastation”, a cell-shaded action game that brings players back to the original animated series. Developed by Platinum Games, the title is officially described as follows:

Face off against Megatron and battle it out with the Decepticons in Transformers Devastation. Equipped with fast action capabilities, this game allows for instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos for a unique master combat system. Five difficulty levels also deliver hours of intense gameplay.

• Autobots face off against the Decepticons when Megatron discovers a way to harness the enormous power of plasma energy to cyberform Earth

• Platinum Games signature fast action allows instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos for a unique master combat system

• Features 5 playable Autobots including Optimus Prime, Bubblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, and Grimlock

• A deep customization system and 5 difficulty levels with overhauls in enemy composition deliver hours of intense gameplay

• Actors from the original TV series reprising their roles include Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Dan Gilvezan (Bubblebee), Frank Welker (Megatron and Soundwave), and more

The game is set to debut on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 6, 2015.

‘Silent Hills’ To Be Purchased By Microsoft As Xbox One Exclusive

Rumors are spreading around that Microsoft is in talks with Konami to purchase the rights for Silent Hills, a deal that is said to cost billions! The deal is being rushed now in the hopes that if it goes through, Microsoft can announce the title as an Xbox One exclusive at this year’s E3, a move that would potentially skyrocket sales for the console.

Evidence that points to this being a reality is that the video received an anonymous tip from a source that has provided them with reliable information in the past. Additionally, the removal of P.T. from the Playstation Network might have been a show of good faith by Konami to ensure its exclusivity on the Xbox One platform.

Star Wars Battlefront will debut in April at Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars Battlefront will be unveiled next month at Star Wars Celebration, the semi-annual fan convention, Electronic Arts announced today.

“We’re thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19,” a post on EA’s site reads. “We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.” Continue reading →
