Schwarzenegger Is Meeting ‘Predator 4’ Director Soon

20th Century Fox issued a slew of new release dates for upcoming projects, including their highly-anticipated Predator sequel, which will hit theaters March 2, 2018. Writer-director Shane Black has previously revealed that the script is finished, which he co-wrote with Fred Dekker, and that it will be a sequel, not a reboot as previously rumored. While no cast members are officially attached yet, original Predator star Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed in an interview with The Arnold Fans that he’s planning on meeting with Shane Black soon to discuss the project. Back in 2014, Sony Pictures was planning to develop a crossover film that would combine the world of Men in Black with the 21 Jump Street franchise. According to Variety, the studio is moving forward with their plan on this movie and they are in talks to hire James Bobin to direct the movie. Todd McFarlane Is Finished with New Spawn Movie Script

Todd McFarlane has been talking about a new Spawn movie for a few years now, but he told ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview that 2016 is the year he makes it happen. At Toy Fair New York, McFarlane sat down and talked toys, branching out, and his first love, Spawn.”I’ve finished the script, and I’m in the process of editing,” McFarlane told ComicBook when asked for an update. “It’s 183 pages, and [producers] usually like 120. I still think it’s going to end up being about 140, because I’m putting in details for myself.”
That’s because McFarlane also hopes to direct the film, so he’s writing the script as “a director’s script.” The trimming is still necessary so he can get it to “a spot where I can walk this into Hollywood and start hooking the actors,” he said. Continue reading →

In a new Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson has come back to New Line Cinema for the adaptation of classic Midway arcade game, Rampage. And it looks like it’ll be a full-on San Andreas reunion with that film’s writer Carlton Cuse (as well as his “Colony” co-creator Ryan Condal) to re-team with that film’s director Brad Peyton and producer Beau Flynn. Non-Stop screenwriter Ryan Engle wrote the previous draft of the screenplay, the story for which is said to be “under wraps,” though it will involve the game’s three original beasties going three-on-one with the Great One.
