The Rhino will Only be in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 for 4-Minutes

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/531e394de4b05616ec3a0023/1394489679917/the-rhino-will-only-be-in-amazing-spider-man-2-for-4-minutes?format=750w

A lot of fans are concerned with the amount of villains that will be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2  with Electro, Green Goblin, and The Rhino all being featured in the film. You might be happy to hear that just because there are going to be several villains introduced in this movie, not all of them are going to get a ton of screen time. Director Marc Webb talked about the villains at his South by Southwest keynote saying,

“I’m going to embrace the spectacle. There was a moment deep in the [first film’s] post-production process where a giant lizard smashed through a wall chasing a boy-man in a unitard and I said, ‘This is not grounded. I’m not going to be beholden to smallness. I want it to be fantastic, to be big, to command and express that feeling when you’re a kid and reading the comics. … I didn’t want to hide or shy away from that.

We’re obviously familiar with the complaints people had We’re very careful to make sure the stories intertwine. For Peter Parker, it’s very important that you create obstacles that are difficult to overcome.”

He then added that The Rhino is, “in the movie for four minutes.” This makes sense as we know that the villain will also carry over into the The Amazing Spider-Man 3. It seems like this movie is just going to set up the character along with Black Cat. I’m looking forward to seeing how far they take these villainous characters in the franchise. I doubt they will kill them all off since they plan on making a bunch of stand alone movies.

David Goyer Discusses CONSTANTINE TV Series

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/531dd557e4b00453258aa73f/1394464090169/david-goyer-discusses-constantine-tv-series?format=750w

NBC is almost ready to start production of their new series Constantine, which is based on the popular comic book. According to the series writer and producer, David Goyer (Batman Begins, Man of Steel), production on the series starts this week. He also stated that the adaptation is going to follow the comic book more than the movie did and reveals a few other cool things that fans will be happy to hear. While talking to I Am Rouge he said,

“We only have four series regulars but we’ve cast them all now. I’m proud to say that Constantine is actually being played by a British guy. Matt Ryan and he is going to have blond hair.”

John Constantine is a notorious chain smoker, and when asked if he would partake in his old habits on the series, Goyer replied:

“That’s a tricky one on network TV. We’re negotiating right now. He will have his signature trench coat and skinny tie. I would say that the show clings more closely to the source material than the film did. Even though the film was interesting.”

Goyer then revealed that the series would be more in line with the Hellblazer version of the character, and that there are plans of bringing in more DC comics characters into the series if the network picks it up.

“Quite a few other characters from the comic books and possibly from the DC universe, should we move forward, will be showing up…..I think we would try to bring in some of the other occult figures.”

The series stars Matt Ryan as Constantine, Lucy Griffiths as Liv, Harold Perrineau as the angel Manny and Charles Halford as Constantine’s friend Chas. The pilot is set to be directed by The Descent and Game of Thrones director Neil Marshall. I think we can expect to see some awesomeness from this series.

Marc Webb Addresses The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Villain Overload Concerns

Marc Webb Addresses The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Villain Overload Concerns

It’s pretty clear from the promotional material that has already been released that director Marc Webb is packing quite a lot into his upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The May 2 release is already set to feature Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino and Dane DeHaan and Chris Cooper as Harry and Norman Osborn. That’s in addition to teases in the trailer of Doctor Octopus and the Vulture, with further rumors floating around surrounding every foe of Spidey from Venom to the Robot Master. Webb today revealed at SXSW (via The Hollywood Reporter) that, while he’s not giving away exactly what surprises are in store come May, too many villains aren’t going to hurt the story and that Giamatti’s Rhino actually only has four minutes of screen time.

“We’re obviously familiar with the complaints people had,” he said. “We’re very careful to make sure the stories intertwine. For Peter Parker, it’s very important that you create obstacles that are difficult to overcome… I’m going to embrace the spectacle. I’m not going to be beholden to smallness. I want it to be fantastic, to be big, to command and express that feeling when you’re a kid and reading the comics.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, B.J. Novak and Sarah Gadon.

First Look at HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/5316671ce4b08f2413cb5811/1393977125322/first-look-at-human-centipede-3?format=750w

Above is our first look at Human Centipede 3. There are no Human Centipedes present, but don’t let it fool you. Apparently the movie will feature the longest Human Centipede yet, consisting of 500 people, and it will not include CG effects. It will literally be 500 poor extras with their faces locked in to other people’s asses.

The photo features the star of the original film, Dieter Laser, walking through a room of caged prisoners. The star of the second film, Laurence R. Harvey, is also set to reprise his role in the third movie as well.

Tom Six is back to direct the movie, and this is what he had to say about it in an interview with EW:

“THC Part 3 will be totally different from Parts 1 and 2 and certainly not as gross. But it will be the most controversial one politically-wise. It will have a lot of self-mockery and will be the most darkly comical of the three. Parts 1 and 2 have a very European feel. Part 3 is very American with the highest budget, a big movie score, widescreen, and an XXL human centipede. It’s set in an American maximum security prison in the middle of the desert. Plot-wise I won’t share details yet but if you let your imagination run wild you might get ideas.”

He goes on to talk about Eric Roberts, who plays the Governor in the story, saying,

“Eric plays an a–hole governor. He is a great, underrated actor with a delicious, worn, malicious face. He was perfect for the part and a real gentleman. I love working with American actors and can’t wait to work with more famous American actors — if they have the b—s to work with me because some are scared to work with a sick European ‘horror’ film maker. I make ‘horrific’ movies, that’s true — but I don’t consider them as standard horror films. I think the genre with mostly masked killers or creepy ghosts on a killing spree is pretty boring and stupid.”
