Last week, we learned that Patrick Stewart would have a significant role in Wolverine 3 as Professor X. We now have some new details from Hugh Jackman himself regarding his very last Wolverine movie. During an appearance on the Sydney Confidential podcast, the actor teased a couple things that fans might be interested in hearing. This is one of the conversations that went down, and in it, he teases the possible return of Sabretooth and the appearance of Wolverine’s berserker rage. Continue reading

Patrick Stewart Confirms Role in Wolverine 3

Earlier this year, Patrick Stewart revealed that there had been talks of teaming him up with Hugh Jackman for the upcoming third Wolverine film, calling it a “very different” type of movie from the other “X-Men” films he has been a part of. Now, speaking with Collider, Stewart confirms that this is the route the film is taking and that he’s not just appearing in the film. Continue reading
WOLVERINE Teaser Poster Revealed by Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman has officially released the teaser poster for his final Wolverine film. This is the same image that was shared with fans at Comic-Con earlier this month. There he also confirmed once again that this movie will be the last time that we see him play Wolverine. Continue reading
Hugh Jackman Confirms OLD MAN LOGAN As The Next WOLVERINE Movie

Hugh Jackman appropriately kicked off the X-Men portion of Fox’s Marvel panel, confirming (again) that the next Wolverine movie will be his last, and seemingly revealing that the James Mangold helmed release is going to be based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Old Man Logan…
“I’ve got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan,” Hugh Jackman told the packed out Hall H panel for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming Marvel slate last night. Does that mean his third and final Wolverine movie is going to adapt that critically acclaimed comic book story? Maybe! Some major alterations will need to be made, but it does sound like the plan is to head in that direction.
The actor followed that comment up by saying, “As I promised, this next time is my last time putting on the claws, it’s one last time,” as the image you see below appeared behind him (it seems to be a promotional shot from a previous movie starring the character rather than a teaser image specifically shot for The Wolverine sequel).
I can tell you I am excited about this news. Are you? What are you hoping to see in the movie?
Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Set to Appear in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
We’ve heard rumors about Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse, but the actor has given no indication that he will actually be in the movie. Now, thanks to a custom leather goods company named Kika NY, we’ve learned that Wolverine will in fact be in the film. They revealed some sketches for a special duffle backpack that they were commissioned to make for Jackman, and said,
We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching – The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted!
There’s no information on how big of a part he will play in the story. It makes sense that he would appear in film, especially after that ending for X-Men: Days of Future Past. It left his fate completely up in the air. I assume they will just continue that plot line for his character. In the comics, Apocalypse transforms powerful mutants into his Four Horsemen that include War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. At one point, he turned Wolverine into Death. Who knows if they’ll take the story in that direction. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Hugh Jackman Teases DEADPOOL Cameo, Talks WOLVERINE 3 and Retirement

Hugh Jackman On Why He’s Walking Away From Wolverine
Over the last year, Hugh Jackman has been very wishy-washy about playing Wolverine and how much longer he would be playing the character. First X-Men: Days of Future Past was going to be his last movie, then he was going to play the character until he died. Now Wolverine 3 seems like it will in fact be the very last time that Jackman busts out his claws. Continue reading
Hugh Jackman Hints At Final Appearance As Wolverine
Hugh Jackman’s time as Wolverine may be coming to an end.
The actor, who has portrayed the “X-Men” character since the beginning of the franchise in 2000, hinted on Instagram on Saturday that he may be doing that just one more time.
Cinemablend reported rumors earlier this week that Wolverine will indeed make an appearance in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Could this be the appearance Jackman is talking about? Without Jackman as Wolverine, will the franchise crumble to pieces? We’d guess probably not, but one should never underestimate the Power of Jackman.
Hugh Jackman Wants to Continue Playing Wolverine Until He Dies

Despite previously indicating that his time as Weapon X could come to an end, Hugh Jackman says in a new interview he’d like to keep playing the character of Wolverine until he dies. Jackman tells Cigar Aficionado (via E! Online) that watching Michael Keaton in Birdman stirred something inside him. Continue reading
