Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff has been tweeting some clues that clearly tease a superhero she will be playing as part of a “super secret job.” There’s a photo that shows her having a cast made for her face, and then a little glimpse of a red costume.

There have been a lot of rumors and speculation regarding what superhero or villain Sackhoff could play. She’s already expressed interest in Captain Marvel and Harley Quinn. We do know that at one point Marvel was discussing a potential project with her.

On July 29th she said the following:

“I’m wearing red leather to my meeting with @TheRealStanLee today, sorta just seemed appropriate.”

A few days later these two photos popped up:http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53df9e32e4b0a0eb46c0b12e/1407163954669/?format=300w“Headed out for day one of a super secret job….I will send photo clues throughout the next 3 days! Clue #1”https://i1.wp.com/static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53df9e6ee4b0689349464122/1407164031862/BuFEOfrIYAA60sk.jpg?w=584

“Clue 2”

Who knows exactly what this could all mean? She’s definitely got some kind of superhero project brewing with Marvel. The red and black colors would suggest Captain Marvel. It’s not clear on if this is for a movie, TV show or some other form of entertainment, but if Sackhoff belongs in the Marvel cinematic universe, it would be pretty damn cool if she was going to play Captain Marvel.

Paul Feig May Direct GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot with Female Cast

https://i0.wp.com/static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53df8769e4b06cbe0712eae0/1407158132547/gb4.jpg?w=584

In news that has enraged depressed male Internet commenters the world over, Variety reports that Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) is in talks to direct a reboot of Ghostbusters that will feature an all-female ghost busting team. A new script will be written from scratch. I know that some of you were still holding out hope for Ghostbusters 3, but that seems less and less likely all the time. Bill Murray is never going to sign on, and Harold Ramis died earlier this year, which is most likely what prompted director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2) to leave the project in March. That doesn’t leave much of a band to get back together (sorry, Dan Aykroyd).

Sony has been looking for a new director for the project since Reitman’s departure, and now it sounds like they’ve settled on this idea instead. THR originally reported that Feig was in talks to direct Ghostbusters 3, but have updated their article to state that this is a new project. Apparently the talks are very preliminary, and no formal negotiations have taken place, so nothing is set in stone. The director is already set to shoot Spy with Melissa McCarthy, due out next year, and he reportedly has several scripts in development at Fox, so this new lady Ghostbusters is, at best, third in line.

I know everyone complains about reboots, and a lot of them are terrible and unnecessary. The first two Ghostbusters don’t require updating, but if Sony is intent on squeezing more money out of the franchise, wouldn’t you rather see a fresh start with some really funny comediennes than one out of three original Ghostbusters handing things off to Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, and Zac Efron? I can get behind complaints that Sony is messing with the Ghostbusters, but I don’t understand complaints that girls ruin everything. Feig hasn’t directly commented on the news, but he did send out this sort of subtweet:

Interesting how making a movie with men in the lead roles is normal but making a movie with women in the lead roles is a “gimmick.”

I feel ya, Paul Feig.

Not sure how i would feel about that  but  what  women would u like to see  as the leads if they do?

J.R. Ramirez Cast as Wildcat for Arrow Season 3

It was revealed this weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con that “Arrow” would be bringing along another DC hero – Ted Grant, AKA Wildcat. Now, Deadline reports that “House of Payne” and “Power” star J.R. Ramirez has been cast in the role, which will be “a pivotal role in Laurel Lance’s arc this season.”

Created by Bill Finger and Irwin Hasen, Wildcat first appeared in Sensation Comics #1 in 1942. A former boxer, Wildcat used his fighting skills in place of his lack of superpowers, though at one point he was given the ability to return from the dead up to nine times.

Wildcat isn’t the only DC hero that’s getting added to the ranks of “Arrow” this season either as former Superman Brandon Routh has also joined the cast as Ray Palmer, AKA The Atom.

“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 P.M. ET/PT on The CW with the new season set to premiere on October 8.

Harrison Ford broke his ankle in mid-June, forcing the Star Wars: Episode VII schedule to shuffle Ford’s scenes to the latter end of principle photography. Ford has been healing well but should have about another month of recovery left. A recent photo via @PaulRMQ shows that he’s now off of crutches and looking healthy. (Found on Jedi News)

http://static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53d82830e4b0ba978ec8c523/1406675003660/?format=500w

This past weekend, during a surprise panel for the live-action adaptation of The Last of Us that Sam Raimi is producing, Raimi also announced that he is currently writing an Evil Dead TV series with his brother Ivan and franchise star Bruce Campbell. To what extent Campbell would be involved in the show was unclear, but yesterday the actor confirmed that he will indeed star in the new series.

Campbell tweeted the following response to a fan’s comment:

Bruce Campbell        ? @GroovyBruce

@DeaditeBill: Only if @GroovyBruce is the STAR of this new tv series will I accept. That’s the plan. pic.twitter.com/m7EkBFpl1b

Paul Bettany Talks the Vision in AVENGERS

https://i2.wp.com/static.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/53d7aa0ce4b0907fe7bf97d6/1406642700775/CryingVision.jpg?resize=376%2C551
So, the best news we ever heard was back in February when we learned that Paul Bettany would play the Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Bettany has this weird quality of easygoing intensity, and no matter what kind of terrible movie he is in he reads every line like it’s Shakespeare. He is (was?) great as JARVIS, but we’re excited to see him in actual action. Our colleagues at Superhero Hype recently interviewed him about his role in the Avengers sequel. Here are some highlights:

On getting the part:

For a long while I discovered, having playing JARVIS, I wasn’t allowed to then play another character and Joss Whedon and I got on very well and he looked for a way to make that work and found it, though I can’t say what the relationship is between Vision and JARVIS.

On what makes the Vision interesting:

The thing that appealed to me is that this sort of nascent creature being born, being both omnipotent and totally naive, the sort of danger of that and complex nature of a thing being born that is that powerful and that created in a second and the choices he makes morally are really complex and interesting. They’ve really managed to maintain all of that, the old image I love is of him crying, I think it’s really expressed kind of beautifully in this “Avengers” film.

i know i am excited to see what becomes of vision!  he was always an importatn part of the team!  What do you think!

Orando Bloom and Justin Bieber trade punches!

The two reportedly got into a fight early Wednesday at hot spot Cipriani on the Spanish island. Bloom reportedly threw a punch, which sent Bieber fleeing from the club as other patrons clapped. Bloom and Bieber have been seen out with the other’s respective ex — Miranda Kerr and Selena Gomez.

Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom got into a screaming and shoving match at an Ibiza, Spain club early Wednesday — with Bloom even throwing a punch, TMZ reported.

The Canadian crooner left Cipriani after the two got face-to-face during a star-packed night at the waterside hot spot in the Spanish isles, according to the site. And his departure was met with applause, a witness told TMZ.

Bloom took one swing at Bieber and missed, a source told the Daily News.

They were separated and the 20-year-old pop star stayed with friends for a while before leaving.

Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Diddy were all there when the two — who have previously been spotted out on the town with the other’s ex — got into it as their respective entourages tried to separate them.
Bieber even yelled, “What’s up b—h?” during the brief melee, TMZ reported.

Bloom and supermodel Miranda Kerr split in October after three years of marriage. In April, the “Hobbit” actor was spotted in Los Angeles hanging out with Selena Gomez, Bieber’s longtime on-again, off-again gal pal.
And rumors flew after Kerr and Bieber were seen partying backstage during the 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show, where Kerr strutted on the catwalk and Bieber performed.

Deadpool Leaked Test Footage,Ryan Reynolds

I have no idea why of all thing this decided to make an appearance on the web today. Since Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine everyone has asked for a Deadpool movie. Now after almost two years of rumors, the Deadpool test footage has made its way online.  Its mainly CG but you can clearly tell that R.R. is doing the voice for the character and it is so Badass!

Photo of ‘Vision’ From ‘Age of Ultron’

Here is our first real look at Paul Bettany as Vision in the ‘Avengers:Age of Ultron’ movie. Bettany has previously voiced the character of Jarvis, the A.I. who talks to Iron Man and is basically his computerized butler.

At Comic-Con Bettany said that the character of Vision and Jarvis are connected but he could not elaborate on that, “It has to be a mystery” he said.

When asked about the costume he had this to say: “It is a real thing. We spent a lot of time working out how to keep me cool in that costume. While it is one of the most genuinely, in all of the work that I’ve ever done, an extraordinary achievement that has nothing to do with me, it’s just a really beautiful piece of design and then manufacturing this thing out of a lot of materials that haven’t existed for a long time. It’s really cool looking. The consequence is it’s fucking hot!”
