In the first season of Daredevil we were introduced to a character named Melvin Potter, who was played by Matt Gerald. This is the guy who made Matt Murdock his classic red Daredevil suit in the series. It looks like this character will be back for Season 2, and he will could be suiting up as Gladiator.

Wesley Snipes On ‘Blade’

Wesley Snipes brings a lot of legacy to the San Diego confab today and not just because he was here last year as one of the ensemble of The Expendables 3. The actor debuted as Blade back in 1998 when some of those in the current crop of Marvel movies were still in short pants. That vampire hunting character and the trio of pics that Snipes fronted as Blade will certainly be on the minds of many fans in Room 6A of the SD Convention Center for The Player panel this morning.

Marvel’s Vendetta against Fox Continues; Comic Writers No Longer Allowed to Create New X-MEN Characters; FANTASTIC FOUR Comics to End Next Year

While Sony Pictures and Marvel might be able to work out a deal to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the bitter rivalry between Marvel and 20th Century Fox continues. Fox owns the screen rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four, and Marvel has retaliated by undermining those properties.  According to Marvel Comics writer Chris Claremont [via Bleeding Cool], the company has forbidden the creation of new X-Men characters because those characters could then be used by Fox.

Obadiah Stane Was Originally Not Supposed to Die in IRON MAN
