In an interview with IGNHugh Jackman revealed what movie he would really like to play Wolverine in:
“I would love to see him as part of The Avengers. Because there’s a great dysfunction among that team, and I think Wolverine would fit right into that. He’d like that.”
That would result in a worldwide geek-gasm! Here is how Jackman sees that interaction going down:
“There’s no doubt he’d get in a fight with Hulk at some point. Those two bad, rage-filled characters are going to square off at some point. It would be quite fun. I don’t know how much fun to shoot it would be because I’m sure I’d be on the worst end of it, but hey, he can heal.”
Without a doubt the two toughest brawlers in the Marvel Universe would have to go at it. We wouldn’t expect any less. Wolverine and Hulk have had some of the most epic battles in comic book history. It hurts me deep inside knowing that this will never happen in a live-action film.
Jackman also thinks that Logan would have problems with another iconic Avenger. He would like to see Wolverine take on Iron Man. That could shake things up a bit.
THATS GREAT HE WANTS TO BE IN THE FILM BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL EVER HAPPEN. Fanboys would go crazy though! The movie would probably need to be rated R for anything great to really happen! What do you think?

Real names and external storage support are just the beginning for June. With this update, Xbox Live is being improved in a number of ways as we announced last week. You will also be able to take advantage of great new SmartGlass features, including OneGuide and Universal Remote Control, select an account for automatic sign-in, and for Xbox One owners in Canada and Europe, get access to OneGuide and more TV, SmartGlass and voice features.
Easily Increase Games Capacity with External Storage Support
It couldn’t be easier to increase your storage capacity of games and apps with the external storage support features we’re bringing in June. Your Xbox One system will soon support up to two external hard drives at once. Simply plug in your 256 GB or larger USB 3.0 external hard drive and once formatted, copy and move games, apps and game add-ons to increase your storage capacity at home.
This is also a great way to take your content to a friend’s house and get straight into a game directly from an external drive. You’ll need to sign in to Xbox Live if you’ve purchased your content digitally or insert a disc to verify your game ownership when you take your content on the road. The great benefit here is there’s no need to wait to re-download your game and all the DLC. With external storage support in June, you can also choose to copy full games and all of the associated content in one easy step.
Real Names Makes it Easier to Identify Friends
With Xbox One you can have 1,000 friends and infinite followers, but as these lists grow it can become increasingly more difficult to remember the people you know by their gamertag alone. Now with real names feature you can recognize people on your friends list and more easily discover people you already know who are on Xbox Live.
Most importantly, we heard your feedback that to make this most useful you need full control. You’ll be able to share with all your friends, a subset of your choosing, friends of friends or none at all. The choice is yours. Also, your name doesn’t show up in games, and you can change your settings any time from your profile and when adding new friends.
SmartGlass Provides Access to full OneGuide and Universal Remote Control, Pin Reordering and More
We’ve made a ton of changes to your SmartGlass app for Xbox One. After getting great feedback from our SmartGlass beta, we’re thrilled to be bringing the entire OneGuide experience and Universal Remote Control to SmartGlass. Now in supported markets you can view all of your TV listings on your SmartGlass device and set and view your favorite channels and app channels on your smart phone, tablet or PC. With the Universal Remote Control, you can also easily switch channels, set new recordings and select and control recorded content from your DVR. Another great companion feature now in SmartGlass is pin reordering. With the touch of your finger you can easily organize your pins in categories or favorites based on your preferences and have those changes refresh to your console.
Other improvements to SmartGlass will help you stay current on what you and your friends are up to, even when you’re away from your console. We’re bringing hero stats and activity feed front and center, and adding more ways for you to compare achievements via SmartGlass whether you’re on a friend’s profile or viewing a game from the activity feed. Just like on the console, you can choose to get notifications on your smart phone, PC or tablet when a favorite friend signs into their console or starts broadcasting a game. For many devices, you can even choose to start watching the broadcast wherever you are.
Expanded TV and OneGuide Soon Available in More Markets
The TV and OneGuide features we began sharing with select Xbox Live members in April will be available in June to everyone in Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. The update will bring OneGuide, alongside Favorites and App Channels, for people in these markets who have their TV connected to Xbox One via HDMI-in. Additional features in these markets include Kinect voice commands for controlling your set-top box and other AV equipment. We’ve also updated TV and OneGuide settings to provide better power management and control of your devices and improved compatibility with more devices.
New Gold Membership Benefits, Access to Apps for All and More
With this update, you’ll find a new hub in Xbox One for exploring all of the great benefits available to Xbox Live Gold members, including Games with Gold and Deals with Gold. Also, with the Xbox Live Gold changes announced last week, shortly after the Xbox One system update becomes available in June all Xbox Live members will be able to access popular gaming and entertainment apps without a Gold membership.
Finally, we’ve made it possible for you to choose an account for automatic sign-in on your Xbox One – another much-requested feature from fans like you.
The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield has reportedly signed a new contract with Sony Pictures that will bring him back as Peter Parker for at least two more Spider-Man films. The news comes from The Daily Star, and this is what a senior source from Columbia Pictures told them:
“Andrew is already contracted to make two more films for release in 2015 and 2016.”
What’s interesting about that statement isThe Amazing Spider-Man 3 is set to be released on June 10th, 2016, and part 4 will be released on May 4th, 2018. So what is this 2015 movie they speak of? Could it be for the Sinister Six or Venom spinoff films being developed? I don’t see how Spider-Man wouldn’t be a part of those, but I guess we’ll see.
The source goes on to say that they “are looking to tie him to the role for as many as a further four pictures given the huge success the franchise is enjoying.” They then add, “The part is pretty much his for as long as he chooses.”
Apparently, to help sweeten the deal and keep Garfield on board, the studio is even offering him a box office profit-sharing deal to play Spidey for another six years.
I guess the studio likes what Garfield is doing! I am on the fence about his performance. What do you think? would you like to see Garfield in the role of spider-man for future spider-man movies?
A big screen adaptation of Stephen King‘s IT has been in development for five years. During that time the project was set up at Warner Bros. Now THR is reporting that the production has been moved to New Line Cinema, which is another division of the studio. Apparently, it’s rare for something like this to happen.
New Line is looking to go back to their roots with horror. It was once known as the “House that Freddy Built” because of the success of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. The report says that horror is now having “a resurgence at the company — the emphasis is less slashery and more thrills and chills — as evidenced by last year’s hit The Conjuring.”
IT is one of my favorite novels from King, and I also enjoyed the ’90s TV movie with Tim Curry. I want to see a great film adaptation made. In 2012 the studio hired Cary Fukunaga to direct two films that will tell the full, detailed story. I really hope that New Line moves forward with that plan. This story needs at least two movies. Fukunaga is just coming off HBO’s True Detective. He’s a very talented director, and I’m excited to see what his vision for IT will be.

A promise made twenty-eight years ago calls seven adults to reunite in Derry, Maine, where as teenagers they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children. Unsure that their Losers Club had vanquished the creature all those years ago, the seven had vowed to return to Derry if IT should ever reappear. Now, children are being murdered again and their repressed memories of that summer return as they prepare to do battle with the monster lurking in Derry’s sewers once more.
Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder have revealed the official title for Batman Vs. Superman, and it is Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice! They also released the official logo for the film above.
I like the title and the fact that it teases the Justice League film that will follow it. I’m really curious to see just how many Justice League characters they introduce or tease in Dawn of Justice. So far we have Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
The film also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, as well as Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne,Diane Lane, and Holly Hunter.
There are still no official plot details, but it’s set to be released on May 6th, 2016.

Following a huge first weekend at the box office for Godzilla, Warner Bros. president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman revealed today that a sequel is already in the works.
Legendary Pictures, which put up 75% of the money to make the film (Warner Bros. took care of the rest), is now Universal Pictures’ partner, but Legendary and Warner Bros. will team on the sequel again. It is assumed that director Gareth Edwards would return to direct.
Made for about $160 million, the film earned an impressive $196.2 million worldwide this weekend, with $93.2 million of that coming from the domestic box office and $103 million from international markets.
Godzilla stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. Edwards from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, story by David Callaham. Thomas Tull produced the film, along with Jon Jashni, Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Patricia Whitcher and Alex Garcia served as executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.
I think the movie was epic every moment godzilla was on scene it was intense and great! I know i would like to see more would you? and who would you like to see him go up against?
Earlier this month Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that three standalone Star Wars films are in development. He didn’t mention what any of them were, but there has been speculation that they could feature Yoda, Boba Fett, and Han Solo. There has been a very interesting update on this news and what the three standalone movies could be. It’s pretty exciting stuff if true.
A German website, Star Wars Union, recently attended a Hasbro event where they talked about the future of their products. Hasbro is the maker of the Star Wars toys, and they released some really interesting information at the event. According to the site they revealed the Star Wars movie release schedule for the rest of the decade!
If the information is accurate, it confirms that the first two spin-off movies are for Boba Fett and Han Solo. It also reveals that the third spin-off movie could be about the Red Squadron X-Wing fighters.
Other Star Wars websites such as Jedi News and Making of Star Wars ran the news, but they were asked to take down the information. This tells me that there could be some truth to all of this. If so… AWESOME! Of course, we will treat it all as a rumor for now, but it’s hard not to feel excited about it.

Just in case you forgot, Red Five was Luke Skywalker’s call sign in A New Hope, but he’s not the only member of the Red team to have that call sign. As explained on Wookieepedia, “Red Five was the call sign of the fifth member of Red Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and several beings went by the name Red Five.” So the movie could be about anyone. I assume if this movie happens it will end up following a group of X-Wing fighters on a mission. There’s always a chance that “Red Five” could just be a filler name for a movie they haven’t decided on yet.
As for the first name on the list, Rebels, it refers to the new animated series that will be released later this year. So Red Five could also be another TV series being developed.
I think its a pretty cool idea, i like the concept. i know it takes away from the general star wars theme but its interesting how it can take a spin for the group.. i guess in tiem we shall see. What are your thoughts?
Nazis are a classic short-cut. Put a Nazi in your game, and you’ve got a reason to shoot things without curling up into a morally conflicted ball and questioning whether you’re a good person. So quite why MachineGames has gone to such extraordinary lengths to make this Wolfenstein revival something bigger, more thoughtful and, well, touching than that, is anyone’s guess. Perhaps it cares about what it does.
The story begins during a familiar World War II. The skies are filled with bombers, and a movement tutorial takes place against a backdrop of explosions, unlikely stunts and profound bruising of the torso. And from the outset, it’s obvious that Wolfenstein’s scriptwriters are not just competent – they’re actually really good. I felt more for my squad of multicultural heroes in the opening 90 minutes than I managed for Lara Croft’s crewmates over the course of the whole game. It’s so good you won’t even care that a man coming around from a 14-year vegetative state can run around. We forgave Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, we can forgive a man who’s virtually a cartoon.
Speaking of which, Blazkowicz steals Lara Croft’s tiara as videogames’ ‘most battered hero’. The sheer number of blunt impacts and vivid lacerations he tolerates would test the regenerating health of the most resilient protagonist. There are times when this feels a little needless. But you don’t come to Wolfenstein expecting moderation – and seeing your iconic megadude suffer gives you a little connection, in a way that Duke Nukem never managed.
Besides, The New Order is willing to address some problematic themes, and ducks predictable tropes in a way that’s clever and gratifying. A conversation with a fellow guitar-playing resistance member briefly demolishes the good versus evil rhetoric that Nazi-themed videogames like to indulge in. The good guys don’t have a spotless track record with human rights, he points out, in language powerful enough to make you raise an eyebrow. A scene where Blazkowicz picks up a guitar, against all odds, isn’t excruciating. And praise be! The women in this story have their own tales of challenge and empowerment, and tease you with obvious plot developments that never come. It’s nothing short of great.
And yet, this is still a game where you dual-wield guns, and roam through levels like a wandering cloud of muzzle flare. The weapons all handle brilliantly, and the framerate is as smooth as you’d expect from the id Tech engine. If you played RAGE, you’ll recall what a buttery dream that was; Wolfenstein is the same, with better close-up textures. It doesn’t score so highly in the enemy AI department, but then RAGE was truly exceptional there, and Wolfenstein is only ‘very good’. Enemies run, reposition, and keep you guessing. And just enough of them stand cheerfully out of cover to give you a chance to blast them. It feels less like bad AI, and more like deliberately giving you something to shoot.
Wyatt, were you thinking?
A decision made in the first chapter will subtly change your game throughout. No plot spoilers here, but every chapter has two versions across two timelines, unlocked separately. It’s a cheeky trick, really – your decision affects which exploration skill you learn. One way, you learn to pick locks, in a mini-game that’s short and pleasantly annoying. The other path teaches you to hotwire certain panels. So to get 100% you’ll have to play through twice. Cutscenes will also be changed to reflect your decision. It’s a good reason to replay, perhaps on a more difficult setting.
Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald are the latest cast members to join Jon M. Chu‘s live-action feature adaptation of the classic 1980s cartoon series Jem and the Holograms.
The join the previously cast Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, and Hayley Kiyoko, who are set to play Jem and her bandmates the Holograms. Ryan Guzman has also been cast in the film, and he will play the love interest, Rio. We don’t know who Lewis or Ringwald will be playing in the film yet. They seem like they would make a great fit in this world though.
According to THR, the film is being described as “a modern take on the mysterious pop star and will follow the band through Los Angeles on a music-driven adventure.”
Unlike its predecessors, The Expendables 3 has received a PG-13 rating from the MPAA.
Sylvester Stallone confirmed the rating during a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival.
“We want to reach as many people as possible,” Stallone said. “It’s very close to an R, believe me, it’s right there. But I think we owe it to the next generation. We thought we’d join that club for a while.”
So in other words, they want to reach the next generation’s wallets.
This may also be due to The Expendables 2 grossing over $85 million domestically which is $18 million less than the the first Expendables which grossed over $103 million domestically.
Maybe a PG-13 rating and the youth will help boost ticket sales.
We all know rated R movies don’t perform as well as they use to causing many films to purposely tame their content… although most PG-13 films are just as violent as an R film just without the blood splatter and swearing.
Are you disappointed in the PG-13 rating? I think its going to bite him in the ass! You can’t have a movie like this and dumb down the violence. this is a violent film! thats like taking a musical and take the music out of it! I see a sad day for this film and the films to follow unless Stallone changes his tune! What are your thoughts?
