Wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has died at the age of 61… TMZ Sports has learned.

Roddy Toombs, best known for portraying “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in both the former WWF and WCW, is dead at the age of 61 according to a TMZ report. He died from cardiac arrest in his sleep at his home in Hollywood at around noon Friday. He was central to the explosion of WWF’s popularity, with his feuds against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T playing prominent roles in the creation of the first Wrestlemania and its 1986 sequel. WWE inducted him into its Hall of Fame in 2005.

Piper was a wrestling icon — one of the biggest stars in the WWE back in the ’80s, and even wrestled in “Wrestlemania I” back in 1985 … squaring off against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T.

He was also the star of the criminally underrated 1988 sci-fir horror film, They Live. Continue reading

Tom Hanks Reenacts Most of His Films in Six Minutes

If Tom Hanks isn’t your idol, he should be. He’s not only a Hollywood icon, but a damn nice guy (why else would Forbes name him the Most Trustworthy Celebrity last year?). On The Late Late Show Monday, Hanks and host James Corden reenacted every single one most of his movies in just six minutes. Trust when we say it’s a skit that will make you experience EVERY FEEL ON EARTH.

Watch as Hanks takes us down memory lane with our favorite chick flicks (Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail), comedies (Bachelor Party and Big), classic dramas (Forrest Gump and The Green Mile), and 2013?s Captain Phillips. Your day life is about to be made.

Too bad they omitted The Man with one Red Shoe, and Volunteers. Especially the latter, since Corden should be able to pull off a decent John Candy impression.
